Merged after reconciling against the tip. The one conflict was `docs/reference/PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md`, a generated file — regenerated with `npm run gen:provider-reference` (358 unique IDs) rather than hand-merged.
The three base-reds this PR targets, re-checked on the reconciled tree:
- `check:docs-counts`: **exit 0** — provider count 356 → 358 in AGENTS.md, llm.txt, the i18n mirrors and the SVG diagrams was its last red
- `check:open-sse-typecheck`: OK, 0 errors
- `check:agent-skills-sync`: exit 0 (`skills/cli-tunnel/SKILL.md` → `tunnel create [type]`)
- `autoCombo.test.ts` under the mcp vitest config: 63/63
- ESLint over the changed files: exit 0
AGENTS.md, llm.txt and SKILL.md are agent-instruction surfaces; the operator approved them for this PR explicitly.
Three related things that genuinely belong together: the registry and suffix splitter not knowing Astra while the live catalog serves it, the Codex client pin Astra requires, and dropping `next/font/google` so a production image build does not reach fonts.googleapis.com.

Validated in one consolidated worktree cut from `release/v3.8.51`, boarded with the other 19 PRs of this batch. Two in-batch conflicts, both additive and resolved by keeping each side: the `ENVIRONMENT.md` table (#13035 + #13011) and the `chatHelpers.ts` import block (#12975 on the tip + #13017).
- `typecheck:core` clean; `check:dashboard-typecheck` OK (206 pre-existing, within baseline); `check:changelog-integrity` OK; `check:docs-counts` migrations ✓
- complexity 2816 / baseline 3218 and cognitive-complexity 1271 / baseline 1437 — both under baseline
- 531 of 532 focused assertions green across the batch's 46 test files
- `check-file-size` rebaselined for the batch's real growth (annotation `_rebaseline_2026_09_11_mergebatch_v3851_houminxi`, landed on #13038), attributed per PR
The single red is **not this batch**: `tests/unit/combo/quota-weighted-strategy.test.ts` → "A/B isolation: 7 hard-empty + 2 at 0.5% + 1 at 40%, floor=1" asserts an order between two connections of identical weight and flakes on the pure tip too — 2 failures in 4 runs at `origin/release/v3.8.51` with nothing from this batch applied.
⚠️ base-red inherited: #12732 — `Docs Gates`, `Merge integrity`, `No new ESLint warnings`, `Unit Tests fast-path` and `Fast Quality Gates` reproduce on the pure tip (provider count 356 vs the 358 the modules define, SKILL.md drift, and `open-sse/utils/stream.ts` at 3115 > frozen 3098, untouched here).
Thanks @HouMinXi — the live evidence on these (X500 logs, `storage.sqlite` state, real `/v1/models` probes, the 36-minute outage write-up) is what let a 20-PR batch be reviewed as a unit.

Restores ChatGPT Web on a clean-room browser transport, merged on the operator's explicit decision.
Worth stating precisely, because this touches a provenance decision: the PR does not revert #11754. It narrows RETIRED_COMMON_CHATGPT_WEB_PROVIDER_IDS to the single GPL-derived alias cgpt-web and registers chatgpt-web as a separate clean-room id. The old implementation stays retired and blocked; the retirement machinery, its error code and its 410 contract are untouched. All four retirement suites agree with that distinction and pass unchanged.
The 44 protected agent-instruction surfaces this PR touches (AGENTS.md, llm.txt and its 42 mirrors, README) were verified rather than trusted: masking digits and comparing the removed and added line sets gives 264 lines on each side, identical — every change is a provider-count substitution, with no sentence added, removed or reworded.
Reconciled on merge: clean against the tip, with the two chat chokepoints this PR grows (src/sse/handlers/chat.ts +40, open-sse/handlers/chatCore.ts +30) recorded in the file-size baseline under an annotation. Verified that exactly those two caps move and nothing else, so the #12411 ratchet holds. The rebaseline is carried on this branch rather than left in a validation worktree — the propagation mistake that put the 2026-09-02 merge waves base-red in #12434.
Verified: 504/504 across the PR's 44 test files plus all four chatgpt-web retirement suites, check:provider-consistency OK (272 REGISTRY entries, 355 canonical providers), check-file-size OK, and every changed TypeScript file parses.
Thanks @backryun — separating the clean-room id from the retired alias, instead of reopening the old one, is what made this reviewable.
The service operator asked in writing (2026-08-30) that their service be
removed from OmniRoute entirely: executor, registry entry, no-auth catalog
entry and alias, icon mapping, env var, docs rows, dedicated tests and
snapshots, and every passing mention in comments, fixtures and CHANGELOG
entries. Provider count drops from 355 to 354 on every canonical surface.

Adds uncensored.com as two OpenAI-compatible providers mirroring UC's own surfaces: uc, the persona/subscription side over WebSocket with a durable Clerk credential minting a short-lived per-connect token (no API key, un-metered), as a full multimodal port — chat, tools, vision, doc-RAG, image, video, TTS; and uc-direct, the metered Developer API over REST with X-api-key. Same underlying models, two billing surfaces.
Reconciled on merge. 57 files conflicted; only seven carried UC content, the rest was drift from the older release line and took the tip's side.
- executors/index.ts: the tip has since refactored the executor map to lazy dynamic imports, so uc is registered in that shape. uc-direct needs no entry — it routes through the default OpenAI-compatible executor.
- imageGeneration.ts: the branch still carried the retired designerWeb import alongside ucImage; kept only the UC one.
- config/providers/index.ts, webSessionCredentials.ts and web-cookie.ts resolved additively against the MaxAI entries #11461 put on the tip an hour earlier.
- web-cookie.ts: the uc entry declared no serviceKinds, required since #11392, so provider validation would have thrown at load. Declared ["llm"]. uc-direct already declared it at the end of its own entry — an earlier pass of mine added a second one after id and TypeScript caught the duplicate (TS1117); the author's placement is what shipped.
Every count was measured against the merged tree rather than taken from the branch, and all three would have been wrong: reserved prefixes are 406, not 399; APIKEY_PROVIDERS is 237, not 234; providers are 355. PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md regenerated, the count updated across README/AGENTS.md/llm.txt and its 42 mirrors, package.json and 6 SVGs — every changed line in the protected surfaces is a digit substitution and nothing else, verified by masking digits and comparing the removed and added sets (90 lines each, identical). The executor-map golden snapshot went 134 -> 135.
The branch's file-size-baseline.json predates #12411's ratchet re-tightening and was discarded rather than merged; imageGeneration.ts (+12 for the uc-image format branch) was entered against the current baseline under a _rebaseline annotation, and no other cap moves.
Verified: typecheck:core clean, check:provider-consistency OK (271 REGISTRY entries, 355 canonical providers), check:docs-counts exit 0, check-file-size OK, check:cycles OK, 119/119 across the PR's test files, and 2/2 executor-map-golden.
Thanks @arminanton — two providers for two real billing surfaces, rather than one entry pretending to be both, is the right modelling.
MaxAI joins as a first-class signed provider: 13 chat models discovered live from /models/get_config plus 6 image models, routed through the standard /v1 endpoints with per-request X-Authorization signing, browserless onboarding, prompted tool-calling, vision input, image generation and document RAG.
Reconciled on merge — worth reading, because the branch forked 227 commits back and 77 files conflicted. Only five carried MaxAI content; the rest was drift from the older release line and took the tip's side, taking the diff from 113 files to 37 (then 93 as counted against the current base).
- executors/index.ts: the tip has since refactored the executor map to lazy dynamic imports, so MaxAI is registered in that shape rather than the branch's static import.
- imageRegistry.ts: kept only the maxai block. The branch still carried microsoft-designer-web, which #11754 retired.
- models/route.ts: the conflicting hunk was an unrelated Vertex/Anthropic URL change, not MaxAI — tip's side.
- volcengine agent-plan/coding-plan registries: git auto-merged both sides and produced a duplicated supportsVision key, which TypeScript rejects (TS1117). Removed.
One real integration break that only the combined state shows: the MaxAI entry declared no serviceKinds, which #11392 made required a few hours ago. Provider validation threw at load time and check:provider-consistency crashed outright. Declared ["llm"] — the image kinds derive from imageRegistry, per the convention in that PR's backfill.
Every count was measured rather than taken from the branch, and each would have been wrong: reserved prefixes are 402, not the 397 the branch computed from its stale 395 base; providers are 353, not 354. PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md regenerated, the count updated across README/AGENTS.md/llm.txt and its 42 mirrors, package.json and 6 SVGs — every changed line in those files is a digit substitution and nothing else, verified by masking digits and comparing the removed and added sets (90 lines, identical). The executor-map golden snapshot was regenerated: keyCount 133 -> 134.
The branch's file-size-baseline.json predates #12411's ratchet re-tightening, so it was discarded rather than merged — taking it would have silently undone that. The three files this PR grows (proxyFetch.ts +20 for the Windows/firefox_150 TLS profile, imageGeneration.ts +12, models/route.ts +48) were entered against the current baseline under one _rebaseline annotation; no other cap moves.
Verified: typecheck:core clean, check:provider-consistency OK (269 REGISTRY entries, 353 canonical providers), check:docs-counts exit 0, check-file-size OK, check:cycles OK, and 79/79 across the MaxAI suites plus 21/21 reserved-prefix and 2/2 executor-map-golden.
Thanks @arminanton — the provider work itself is thorough; it was the 227 commits of base that needed the attention.
Validado no worktree combinado. Obrigado!
Rebased onto the current release/v3.8.51 tip as part of a combined provider-retirement/provenance merge batch (Designer Web, Felo Web, Runtime, GPL-derived removal, Qwen Web already landed). Large conflict set (this is the biggest PR in the batch — the common ChatGPT Web provider touches chat, images, count-tokens, session leases, and combos). Conflicts resolved:
- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/chatgpt-web/*`, `open-sse/executors/chatgpt-web*`, `open-sse/handlers/imageGeneration/providers/chatgptWeb.ts`, and their tests: kept deleted, matching the PR's stated scope.
- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/minimax/web/index.ts`, `open-sse/handlers/imageGeneration/providers/geminiWeb.ts`, `open-sse/executors/gemini-web.ts`'s stale image-mode branch: base-drift collisions against already-merged sibling retirements (#11691, #11708) — kept deleted / dropped the dead code, since this PR's own branch forked before those merged.
- `src/shared/constants/reservedProviderPrefixes.ts`, `open-sse/executors/index.ts`, `executorProxy.ts`, `virtualFactory.ts`, `autoStrategy.ts`, `src/lib/db/providers.ts`, `src/sse/handlers/chat.ts`: combined the Designer + Runtime (Felo/Qwen) + common-ChatGPT-Web retirement guard calls at each shared chokepoint — compute-once-then-OR pattern, consistent with prior combinations in this batch.
- `src/sse/services/model.ts` / `src/sse/handlers/chatHelpers.ts`: adopted this PR's new `getModelInfoOrRetirementResponse()` central wrapper (a real improvement over ad-hoc try/catch), and extended it to also catch the Designer + Runtime retirement errors it didn't originally cover, so the consolidation doesn't regress the other two mechanisms.
- `src/app/api/v1/images/edits/route.ts`: this PR moved the retirement check earlier (before `enforceApiKeyPolicy`) but left the old later call+catch block in place from base drift — removed the now-redundant duplicate `resolveImageRouteModel()` call and merged the Designer catch into the earlier one.
- `open-sse/config/imageRegistry.ts`, `tests/snapshots/executors/executor-map.json` (`keyCount` recomputed to 133), `tests/snapshots/provider/translate-path.json`: same "both sides inserted a different retired provider at the same slot" pattern — resolved by dropping both.
- `tests/unit/chatcore-executor-proxy.test.ts`, `provider-node-reserved-prefix.test.ts`, `combo-auto-candidate-expansion.test.ts`, `messages-count-tokens-route.test.ts`, `virtual-auto-combo.test.ts`: split into independent per-mechanism test blocks (established pattern); `virtual-auto-combo.test.ts`'s old "includes cookie web-session providers" positive-inclusion test (which used chatgpt-web as its example) was retired along with the provider and replaced by this PR's negative-exclusion test for the same slot.
- `docs/architecture/ARCHITECTURE.md`, `CODEBASE_DOCUMENTATION.md` (+ 4 i18n mirrors), `README.md`, `FREE-TIERS-GUIDE.md`, `docs/diagrams/free-tier-budget.svg`, `docs/screenshots/free-tier-budget-card.svg`, `docs/reference/PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md`: recomputed every stale count from the real merged state — 104 executors (`countFiles` gate logic), 351 providers (regenerated via `gen:provider-reference`), 152/351 `hasFree` entries, 445/438/7 free-tier catalog rows, 13 ToS-avoid providers, budget-card regenerated via its real generator script. One doc conflict (`oauth/` module list) needed picking HEAD's side specifically — theirs still listed the already-removed `raycast` module instead of the real `openference`.
- `config/quality/test-masking-allowlist.json`: additive merge of the PR's 17 `_deletedWithReplacement` entries alongside the batch's existing ones (one real duplicate-key mistake in my first pass, caught and fixed via a `object_pairs_hook` duplicate-key check before finalizing).
Also fixed two real, unrelated-to-my-merge issues surfaced by the focused suite:
- `tests/unit/resolve-web-provider-host.test.ts`: the PR's own test had a typo — it asserted `perplexity-web`'s resolved host as `"perplexity.ai"`, but the provider's registered `website` is `"https://www.perplexity.ai"` and the resolver returns the URL's `host` verbatim (no www-stripping), so the correct value is `"www.perplexity.ai"` (consistent with the same test's own `url` assertion).
- `tests/unit/hard-session-lease-bypass-inventory.test.ts`: this golden call-site inventory was already stale on the pristine post-#11713 tip (confirmed via a throwaway probe worktree) — `src/lib/db/providers.ts`'s 3 connection-fallback sites and a third `src/app/api/providers/route.ts` site were never added to the golden list by the earlier-merged #11698/#11720 PRs. Updated it to the real current inventory (dated inline comments explain each delta and which PR introduced it), plus this PR's own legitimate deltas (image-edits duplicate-call removal, `ChatGptWebExecutor.execute()` site removed).
Focused suite green (433/433 across executor-proxy, reserved-prefix, hard-session-lease-bypass-inventory, resolve-web-provider-host, retirement/runtime-block/source-retirement/management-retirement/image-handler-retirement, migration-168, combo-auto-candidate-expansion, virtual-auto-combo, executor-map-golden and siblings), plus `typecheck:core`, `check-file-size`, and `check-changelog-integrity` clean. Thanks for the thorough provenance-hold retirement work — appreciated.
Rebased onto the current release/v3.8.51 tip as part of a combined provider-retirement/provenance merge batch (Designer Web, Felo Web, Runtime, GPL-derived removal all landed together already). Conflicts resolved:
- `src/shared/constants/providerRetirement.ts`: add/add conflict — combined `felo-web`/`felo` (already-merged) with `qwen-web`/`qw` into one `RUNTIME_RETIRED_PROVIDER_IDS` set, kept both `assertRuntimeProviderAvailable`/`assertRuntimeModelProviderAvailable` helpers.
- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/minimax/web/index.ts`: modify/delete — kept deleted (file is hailuo-web's registry entry, already retired by #11691; this PR's own change to it was just a comment reword on a since-removed target).
- `open-sse/executors/index.ts`, `executorProxy.ts`, `virtualFactory.ts`, `autoStrategy.ts`, `model.ts`, `chat.ts`, `chatHelpers.ts`, `auth.ts`, `src/lib/db/providers.ts`, `reservedProviderPrefixes.ts`: combined the Designer + Runtime (Felo + Qwen) retirement guard calls at each shared chokepoint — compute-once-then-OR pattern, consistent with the prior Designer+Felo combination.
- `src/shared/constants/providers/web-cookie.ts`, `tests/snapshots/provider/translate-path.json`, `tests/snapshots/executors/executor-map.json`: both sides had inserted a different retired provider (qwen-web vs. already-retired raycast/hailuo-web) at the same dict position — resolved by dropping both. `executor-map.json`'s `keyCount` recomputed to 135 (matches actual merged `entries`).
- `tests/unit/chatcore-executor-proxy.test.ts`, `tests/unit/provider-node-reserved-prefix.test.ts`: split into independent Felo/Qwen test blocks (established pattern for coexisting retirement-mechanism tests); recomputed `RESERVED_PREFIX_COUNT` to 398 (Designer+Felo+Qwen tombstones on top of the post-#11691 REGISTRY, verified via direct module evaluation, not hand-derived).
- `config/quality/test-masking-allowlist.json`: additive merge of Qwen's `_deletedWithReplacement` entries alongside Designer's.
- `README.md` + all `docs/i18n/*/README.md` mirrors, `docs/getting-started/FREE-TIERS-GUIDE.md`, `docs/reference/FREE_TIERS.md`, `docs/diagrams/free-tier-budget.svg`, `docs/screenshots/free-tier-budget-card.svg`: recomputed the free-tier catalog counts (447 entries / 440 active / 7 discontinued) from the actual merged `freeModelCatalog.data.ts`, regenerated the budget-card SVG via its real generator (`scripts/research/gen-budget-card-svg.mjs`), and dropped the retired Qwen quick-start row / QWEN MODELS section from every i18n README (identical unlocalized block across all 34 locales).
- Also fixed a duplicate-import merge artifact in `src/lib/db/providers.ts` (`isRuntimeRetiredProviderId` imported twice) caught by `typecheck:core`, and rebaselined `file-size-baseline.json` for the combined retirement-guard growth (`virtualFactory.ts` +3, with justification).
Focused suite green (345/345 across executor-proxy, reserved-prefix, migration-167, qwen-web-retirement, virtual-auto-combo, web-cookie/session, executor-map-golden and siblings), plus `typecheck:core` and `check-file-size`/`check-changelog-integrity` clean. Thanks for the provenance-hold retirement work — appreciated.
Merged via /merge-batch (v3.8.51 provenance sweep). Boarded and validated together with the batch's other retirement PRs in a combined worktree — full gate suite green. This PR's conflicts (against #11720's Designer retirement, both introducing a retirement-guard mechanism across executors/index.ts, executorProxy.ts, providers.ts, reservedProviderPrefixes.ts, auth.ts, chat.ts, chatHelpers.ts, model.ts) were reconciled by combining both guards at every chokepoint, with the shared reserved-prefix count recomputed (not guessed) at 400. Re-validated with this PR's own 72 node:test + 20 vitest focused tests, all passing, and pushed before merge. Thank you.
Merged via /merge-batch (v3.8.51 provenance sweep). Boarded and validated together with the batch's other retirement PRs in a combined worktree — full gate suite green. This PR's own conflicts (against #11711's EdgeTTS retirement, both touching test-masking-allowlist.json and the "Image / video / audio generation" README bullet) were reconciled additively/subtractively (both retirements now correctly reflected), re-validated with this PR's own 62 focused tests, and pushed before merge. Thank you.
Merged via /merge-batch (v3.8.51 provenance sweep). Boarded and validated together with the batch's other provider/provenance PRs in a combined worktree — full gate suite green. Thank you.
Merged via /merge-batch (2026-08-26, v3.8.51). Validado: 113/113 testes relacionados passando, typecheck limpo. Obrigado pela contribuição — provider bem completo.
Merged via /merge-batch (2026-08-26, v3.8.51). Boarded no worktree combinado; validação única: typecheck/complexity/cognitive-complexity/file-size/changelog verdes, lint nos mesmos 228 achados pré-existentes confirmados contra o tip puro, testes focados passando. Obrigado pela contribuição.
Merged via /merge-batch (lote 2026-08-26 batch 2, v3.8.51).
Merged into release/v3.8.51 via batch validation: xquik provider suites green on the combined tree (193 node:test assertions incl. your 7 new cases), check:provider-consistency OK (353 canonical providers), static gates green. Well-scoped fallbackOnly X-provider with clean citation building — thanks @kriptoburak!
Merged after conflict resolution: the 5 conflicting test files were the base-red drains that #11201 already landed on the tip — kept the tip versions; the feature content is untouched. Validated on the combined batch board + this branch: codex-app-server + codex-gpt56-catalog 25/25, typecheck:core clean, docs-counts green (351 providers), provider-consistency 268/351/0. The opt-in codex-app-server transport (JSON-RPC-over-WS, turn/completed-awaited close, Responses SSE bridge) leaves the default codex path untouched. Thank you @arminanton — a 3.4k-line transport with the docs wave and tests to match!
Merged after count reconciliation: the branch's regenerated docs claimed 57 free forever / 157 migrations from its older base; gate-verified values on the current tip are 56 free forever (Logfare carries a Free badge via gateways.ts freeNote but has no freeModelCatalog per-model entries, so the live-code counter stays at 56) and 159 migrations — the README/SVGs now match the check:docs-counts output exactly. provider-consistency OK at 267 registry / 349 canonical. logfare-registry 4/4, icon + KNOWN_PNGS + discovery-set membership all verified present. Closes#10644. Thank you @jonlwheat2-gif!
Cherry-picked onto the current tip (authorship preserved), noise files stripped. Pre-merge addition: regenerated the golden snapshot with UPDATE_GOLDEN=1 because the branch's snapshot predated two legitimate tip changes — the dify bare-root from #11065 and the hackclub removal from #11123. The regen'd delta contains exactly those two (audited). This also drains a live base-red: provider-translate-path-golden was failing on the pure tip. 3/3 green. Thank you @rqzbeh!
Cherry-picked the author's cleaned single-commit head onto the current tip. One fix applied pre-merge: the removal migration collided at number 161 with today's config_audit_log migration (#11103) — renumbered to 162_remove_hackclub_provider.sql. Focused tests: remove-hackclub-11118 + provider-metrics-deleted-provider green; check:provider-consistency OK (266/348/0). Provider removal requested by Hack Club maintainers (#11118). Thank you @rqzbeh!
- typecheck:core limpo, complexity/cognitive-complexity dentro do baseline
- npm run check:provider-consistency — OK (266 REGISTRY entries, 346 providers canônicos, 0 exceções)
- 40/40 testes passando (newapi-gateway-providers, hcnsec-provider, providers-constants-split, alternate-formats)
- typecheck:core limpo, complexity/cognitive-complexity dentro do baseline
- 59/59 testes passando (mlx-provider, routing-adaptive-e2e, routing-events(-concurrency), routing-otel, routing-quality, routing-scoring-quality, stream-timing, auto-combo-scoring-clamp)
Today's merge-train batch1 (#10722 Token Kiosk, #10729 Cursor) each added one
new APIKEY_PROVIDERS entry, bringing the live provider count to 343 — the
hardcoded '342' in README.md, AGENTS.md, llm.txt, package.json's description,
PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md, and 4 hero/comparison SVGs went stale as a result.
check:docs-counts (STRICT) now passes; regenerated PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md via
npm run gen:provider-reference. The v3.8.50 growth-log table row in README.md
(line 66) is left as-is — it's a historical point-in-time snapshot, not a
live claim.

Merged via merge-train (release/v3.8.50, batch1 2026-08-20) — static gates (typecheck/file-size/complexity/cognitive/changelog) green on the combined tree; test:unit reds observed in the boarded run were verified pre-existing on the pure release tip (unrelated flake), not caused by this PR. Thanks for the contribution!
Counts (check:docs-counts STRICT, 8 drifts → 0):
- 153 → 154 migrations in README.md, AGENTS.md and llm.txt (+ its 42 i18n mirrors,
which must stay byte-identical to the root file)
- 340 → 341 providers in README.md, AGENTS.md, llm.txt, the package.json description
and the 4 SVG diagrams; PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md regenerated via gen:provider-reference
(the new entry is the cloudflare-playground no-auth provider)
Undocumented environment variables:
- 13 CLI_*_BIN vars that exist in cliRuntime but were in neither ENVIRONMENT.md nor
.env.example (kilo, opencode, hermes, forge, jcode, deepseek-tui, codewhale, smelt,
pi, crush, omp, letta, windsurf — windsurf ships no default command)
- OMNIROUTE_DEBUG and OMNIROUTE_HEALTHCHECK_PATH, read in code but absent from
.env.example
- CLI_CURSOR_BIN documents both fallbacks (agent, then cursor)
Front-matter: bump the seven CLI/reference docs this effort touched from the stale
3.8.40/2026-06-28 stamp to the current release.
Out of scope but blocking check:docs-all, fixed with evidence: ENVIRONMENT.md and
.env.example still documented the Adobe Firefly CDP Chrome runtime removed in #9255.
Seven of its variables are read nowhere in the codebase and its source file no longer
exists; surviving vars are repointed at adobeFireflyBrowserLogin.ts and CHROME_PATH at
its real readers. The two Gemini CLI auth vars the run launcher scrubs from the child
env are added to the fabricated-docs external-tool allowlist, next to the existing
CODEX_HOME/COPILOT_PROVIDER_BASE_URL entries.
npm run check:docs-all now exits 0 for the first time on this base.
* feat(providers): complete Jina AI via OmniRoute including Omni multimodal
Dashboard and env keys share one Jina credential pool, native v5 Omni
{text}/{image}/{content} docs pass through /v1/embeddings intact, and
classify/segment/search are proxied without a third unused Jina card.
* chore(changelog): name Jina complete-provider fragment for #10581
* feat(providers): make Gemini Embedding 2 multimodal work via OmniRoute
Route gemini-embedding-2 through embedContent/batchEmbedContents so N
OpenAI input items become N vectors, pass through native multimodal
parts, and use dashboard Gemini keys (GEMINI_API_KEY only as fallback).
* fix(providers): resolve rebase fallout for Jina/Gemini embeddings
- narrow the two new no-explicit-any violations introduced by this PR
(validateJinaFoundationProvider's params + catch, search.ts's
normalizeJinaSearchResponse data param)
- cast credentials to Record<string, unknown> at the two quota-preflight
call sites in src/sse/services/auth.ts so the new JinaEnvCredentials /
GeminiEnvCredentials union members type-check without loosening the
allRateLimited narrowing used elsewhere in the same function

* remove: drop sunset MiMoCode provider from model catalog
* remove: drop sunset MiMoCode provider from model catalog (shared.ts)
Remove unused imports, types, and comments from shared.ts.
* remove: MiMoCode provider (Xiaomi sunset) — executor, registry, no-auth config, icon, tests
* refactor(providers): finish MiMoCode removal — sweep remaining no-auth references
Drop the leftover mimocode entries from the no-auth provider controls, the
translate-path snapshot, the eslint suppressions, and the #3061 auth-loop
test. Re-point the fingerprint-pin (#6696) and proxy-noauth (#6272) tests at
opencode, which exercises the same fingerprint path, so the removal does not
break runtime behavior.

* docs(providers): reconcile provider/executor counts after MiMoCode sunset
The base's parallel doc-count sync (#10433) pinned 340 providers / 101
executors. With mimocode removed, live code has 339 providers and 100
executors; refresh the user-facing counts (package.json description,
llm.txt, README/AGENTS, i18n llm.txt, provider reference, diagrams) so the
check-docs-counts STRICT gate stays green.

* test(providers): fix orphaned mimocode references after MiMoCode sunset
The sunset removed mimocode/mcode from the free-onboarding candidates and
from FINGERPRINT_PROVIDERS, but two tests still referenced them:
- free-provider-onboarding-setup: the mimocode->theoldllm substitution
introduced duplicate 'opencode' rows (impossible given the request-set
dedupe) and the wrong display name; align expectations with the actual
{opencode, theoldllm} dedupe behavior and 'The Old LLM (Free)' name.
- combo-system-prompt-templates-5501: resolveTargetFingerprint tested with
provider 'mcode', which is no longer a fingerprint provider; point it at
the remaining fingerprint provider 'opencode'.

* fix(providers): make the monsterapi deprecation from #8676 actually apply
#8676 marked MonsterAPI deprecated after its domain stopped resolving, but
wrote the flag as `isDeprecated`. Nothing reads that key. The field the
codebase consumes is `deprecated`:
src/shared/validation/providerSchema.ts declares `deprecated`
ProviderCard.tsx strikethrough + block icon + reason
ProviderTestSlideOver.tsx warning
providerOnboardingCatalog.ts Boolean(provider.deprecated), sorts last
ProviderOnboardingWizard.tsx deprecated badge
scripts/docs/gen-provider-reference.ts gates the DEPRECATED note
Zod object schemas ignore undeclared keys, so `isDeprecated` never failed
validation - it was dropped silently. The deprecation therefore had no effect
anywhere, and tests/unit/8676-monsterapi-deprecation.test.ts asserted the same
unread key, so it stayed green while guarding nothing.
The committed docs/reference/PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md is the visible proof: the
generator renders predibase (which uses `deprecated`) with a DEPRECATED note,
while monsterapi still advertised "Get API key at monsterapi.ai" - a domain
that does not resolve (probed 2026-08-13: api.monsterapi.ai and monsterapi.ai
both 000, against api.openai.com 401 as a reachability control).
Rename the key, repair the regression test to assert the consumed field and to
reject the undeclared one, and refresh the generated reference row.

* feat(providers): add tencent-aistudio-web cookie provider (tasw)
* fix(sse): remove orphaned DevinDesktopExecutor import from executor index
The "devin-desktop" executor key is unused (devin-desktop provider config
resolves to executor "devin-cli"); the imported ./devin-desktop.ts file
was never present, so executors/index.ts failed to load (ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND)
and broke every unit test that imports the executor registry (e.g.
tests/unit/deepseek-web.test.ts). Stale base sync carried this into the branch.
Remove the dead import/registration/export.
* fix(providers): restore DevinDesktopExecutor registration in executor index
The previous commit removed the devin-desktop executor import/registration/
export from open-sse/executors/index.ts, but the devin-desktop provider
registry still resolves executor "devin-desktop" and
tests/unit/devin-providers.test.ts asserts hasSpecializedExecutor("devin-desktop")
is true. The removal broke 6 tests in that file. Restore the three lines so
the live Devin Desktop executor keeps serving the provider.
Co-authored-by: diegosouzapw <8016841+diegosouzapw@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(providers): correct tencent-aistudio-web wrapper shape + provider count sync
Return {response,url,headers,transformedBody} instead of a raw fetch Response
(the executor contract every other executor in this file follows) and
re-wrap the upstream body so it uses the local Response constructor, not the
undici-patched one from globalThis.fetch.
Regenerate docs/reference/PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md and sync the 339->340
provider-count claims (README, AGENTS.md, llm.txt + 42 i18n mirrors,
package.json, promise-pillars/comparison-table/cli-terminal SVGs) that this
PR's new provider invalidated.

* docs(providers): sync readme-hero.svg provider count claim (339->340)
Co-authored-by: diegosouzapw <8016841+diegosouzapw@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(providers): register tencent-aistudio-web web-session credential metadata + golden
Add the WEB_SESSION_CREDENTIAL_REQUIREMENTS entry for tencent-aistudio-web
(cookie-based, matching the executor's raw Cookie-header credential) and
regenerate the translate-path golden snapshot to include the new provider —
both were failing CI unit tests that enumerate every registered provider.
Co-authored-by: diegosouzapw <8016841+diegosouzapw@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(providers): align tencent-aistudio-web test with the wrapper-shape contract
The test asserted res.status/res.json() directly against executor.execute()'s
return value, matching the pre-fix (broken) raw-Response shape. Update it to
read res.response.status/res.response.json() — the {response,url,headers,
transformedBody} contract every executor in this codebase follows.

* fix(ci): clear base-reds on release/v3.8.50 (round 3)
- CHANGELOG.md: restore the top [Unreleased] section dropped by the #10189
reconcile (docs-sync gate: first section must be Unreleased)
- env-doc-sync: document CONDUCTOR_ORCHESTRATOR_TOKEN + CONDUCTOR_SPOKESPERSON_URL
in .env.example/ENVIRONMENT.md; allowlist the CI-only GITHUB_STEP_SUMMARY and
TS7_BASE_REF (ts7 ratchet signals); drop a stray merge artifact line
- providers: restore the audited chatanywhere metadata entry that base-reds
round 2 dropped together with its duplicate — the provider was half-wired
(registry+endpoint without APIKEY metadata), which is what the wave3 test
catches; re-pin providers-constants-split at the measured 228
- docs counts: 338 -> 339 (today's +2 void-ai/helixmind, -1 Puter) via
gen:provider-reference + README/AGENTS/llm.txt/package.json/diagrams/i18n mirrors
- file-size ratchet: annotated rebaseline for the two pre-existing drifts
(ModelSelectModal 1138, gateways 1250) following the 2026-08-11 precedent
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3b — stale sibling tests + mode-pack weight contract
- check-docs-counts-sync.test.ts: drop the imports/subtests of the four helpers
#10196 removed from the gate script (readMcpFactsFromSource, listLocalizedDocs,
makeRequiredCountsValidator, checkFreeTierInventory) — the new-API tests that
#10196 added stay; the file now loads again under the node runner
- quota-connection-recovery.test.ts: convert from vitest APIs to node:test —
the file lives in tests/unit/*.test.ts (node-runner glob) and the vitest
runtime crashes when imported outside vitest, killing the whole shard entry
- modePacks.ts: re-normalize all six mode packs to sum 1.0 — #8940 added
sessionAvailability: 0.05 to every pack without rebalancing (1.05 total);
ratios preserved exactly (÷1.05), so post-normalizeScoringWeights behavior
is unchanged; restores the declared sum-to-1.0 contract the 4235 test pins
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3c — vitest siblings, weights default, secrets FP, mutation tap
- DistributeProxiesButton.test.tsx: wrap renders in NextIntlClientProvider —
#9245 localized the component (useTranslations) and left the test without
the intl context, failing all 14 cases
- scoring.ts: re-normalize DEFAULT_WEIGHTS to sum 1.0 (same #8940 class as the
mode packs — sessionAvailability added without rebalancing; ratios preserved)
- .gitleaks.toml: generalize the kimi sponsor-banner localStorage-key allowlist
to -v\d+ — #10200 bumped v1→v2 and the stale regex regressed the secrets
ratchet with a false positive
- stryker.conf.json: register 6 covering unit tests in tap.testFiles (4 modules)
so their mutant kills count — unblocks check:mutation-test-coverage --strict
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3d — inspector factor gap, stale registry/gap tests, i18n key sync
- comboScoringInspector: add cacheAffinity/sessionAvailability/connectionDensity
to FACTOR_KEYS + the factor-key type — calculateScore() weighs them but the
breakdown omitted them, so the explained contributions never summed to the
reported score (inspector bug, red on the pure tip)
- combo-scoring-inspector.test: make the explicit-weights override sum-neutral
(±0.05 shift) so it stays valid for any DEFAULT_WEIGHTS values — the hardcoded
override only summed to 1.0 against the pre-#8940 defaults, which is also why
explicit weights silently fell back to 'default' on the tip
- unorouter-registry.test: align to the canonical .com host (api.unorouter.ai
301-redirects there, verified live) and to wave4's live model discovery
(passthrough, no static seed) — the .ai/auto-model expectations were stale
- check-migration-numbering.test: 147 left KNOWN_GAPS when
147_api_keys_model_access_mode.sql landed — assert absent (same as 143)
- i18n: sync-ui pass — 35,914 missing UI keys stamped as __MISSING__ placeholders
across 42 locales (mechanical; greens the pt-BR key-presence integrity test;
coverage pct unchanged by design — translation is a separate workstream)
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3e — 2 real defects + 14 stale sibling tests (waves A-E)
Real defects fixed:
- src/lib/db/apiKeys.ts: #9313's empty-allowlist early return bypassed the group
permission check, silently disabling group deny rules (#8817) for every key
without a per-key allowlist; fall-through restored, restricted+[] deny-all kept
- open-sse/utils/proxyFetch.ts: #10032 re-appended the raw transport error to the
propagated message, reintroducing the proxy user:password leak #9837 closed;
new redactProxyDetailsInMessage() keeps the reason, redacts URL/credentials
- .github/workflows/quality.yml: #10134 added the TS7 ratchet as a separate
blocking step AFTER the aggregated gates — the exact #8542 masking mechanism;
folded into the non-fail-fast loop (still blocking, still PR-only) ⚠️ CI edit,
gate-strengthening — explicit owner sign-off requested on the PR
- src/i18n/messages/ko.json: 3 machine-mistranslation regressions caught by the
#8244 glossary checker (장애인→비활성화됨, 양말5://→socks5://, 비클로드→Claude가 아닌)
Stale sibling tests aligned to deliberately-moved contracts (each cites its mover):
request-log-detail-layout + -stream (#9245 intl provider), repro-8542 pin update,
quality-rail-gate-membership (#10134 shape), agentSkills-routes 45→46 (#9058),
cloudflare-ai-catalog-8717 (#8804 supersedes #8808), executor-xai (#9994),
vision-bridge-claude-wire (#9463 minimax→openai), sse-auth forced-pin (#8893),
tls-proxy-context (strengthened leak guards), rate-limit-local-error-classification

github-copilot-custom-model (#9050), providers-g4f-batch3 (#9584),
synced-capability-warmup (#9199, stricter), sidebar-tools-group (#8221),
oauth-modal-grok-cli-paste (#9245); agentSkills/catalog.ts comment 45→46;
file-size rebaseline for proxyFetch (+19, annotated)
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3f — waves F-J: 9 more real defects + stale sibling sweep
Real production defects fixed (all red on the pure tip, each with its origin):
- routeGuard.ts: #8949 accidentally DELETED the /api/providers/[id]/login
local-only pattern — the route spawns a browser, so the loopback gate for a
process-spawning route was gone (Hard Rules #15/#17); restored (314 guard
tests green)
- agentSkills generator: #9058's category dispatch gave the config category an
empty body, wiping skills/config-codex-cli/SKILL.md at the #10131 sync;
fixed + SKILL.md regenerated via the official generator
- imageRegistry: #9982 broke same-provider bare aliasing (antigravity preview
id sent upstream unresolved); new resolveSameProviderBareAlias() keeps the
fal cross-provider fix intact
- imageRegistry: #9982's prefix strip handed the bare nano-banana ids to fal-ai,
violating the pinned 2026-07-31 operator decision (adobe-firefly owns them);
fal entries made prefix-only (dispatch already re-prefixes)
- mediaGeneration/fal.ts: the missing-credential 401 guard was lost when #10198
deleted the superseded falHandler — tests were hitting the live network
- bottleneckPatch/rateLimitManager: #9041's merge clobbered #9604, resurrecting
the Bottleneck v2.19.5 heartbeat bug (reservoir never refills); patched the
library defect at the root and re-aligned chat-rate-limit-body-lock to the
working reservoir contract
- processSupervisor.mjs: #9761 regressed the Node spawn to bare "node" (the
#9156 launchd bug) and dropped #9209's ipv4first args; both restored
- openai-responses/pureHelpers: #9423's Agent null-sentinel was unreachable on
the schemaless JSON-string path; gate extended
- i18n en.json: #8222's regen reverted the #9976 unclosed-tag fix and #8559's
combo-cooldown copy; #9038 shipped 40 t() calls with no messages (runtime
MISSING_MESSAGE); all restored/added + official sync-ui stamps, and vi's
zero-marker policy re-established via the sanctioned translation backend
Stale sibling tests aligned (movers cited inline): chat-helpers (#9447),
executor-antigravity (#9351), video-fal-grok (#9982), visionBridge (#9759),
web-session-credentials (#8974), production-build-module-integrity (positive
anchor added), agentSkills-generator/skillManifestsLint/skills-injection/
agentSkillTools-mcp/listCapabilities-a2a (#9058), memory-settings (#10010),
model-catalog-policy-invalidation (#8906), model-alias-seed (#9485),
reactive-context-compaction (#8949), combo-provider-wildcard (broken upsert
helper), oauth-google-loopback (43-locale resurrected-key removal)
Validation: 501/501 across the 47 touched test files; typecheck:core, lint,
file-size, docs-sync all green.
Refs #9985
* fix(ci): base-reds round 3g — wave K/L: 4 more real defects + stale alignments
Real defects:
- base/reasoningEffort.ts: the stale duplicate cherry-pick #9612 re-added the
codex minimal→low rewrite that #9883 had deliberately removed (OMP minimal
passthrough); block removed again
- cursorImages.ts: #9840 wired prepareCursorImageForWire (sharp re-encode,
fail-closed) into the SHARED resolveCursorImages, breaking zai-web and
conol-web image uploads (HTTP 400 'undecodable'); new prepareForWire opt-out,
Cursor default path unchanged (8 cursor suites green)
- modelCapabilities/snapshot: catalog prepare still issued 323 per-model reads
of model_context_overrides + max_input_tokens overrides, violating #9199's
bulk-load contract; both now resolve from the snapshot single pass
- v1-models-discovery-conformance: re-pinned to the bounded 30s SWR window
(#9199/#10198) — the old 'stale-first regardless of age' contract is gone
Stale tests aligned (movers cited inline): codex-tools-strict-default (#9828
redundant-oneOf strip), devin-providers (#9245 i18n), db-migrationrunner-
constants-split (147→151 renumber #8228), gitlab-duo-oauth-setup (#9245),
chatcore-extracted-modules (#9161 outbound-protocol keying)
compression-api CI failures were cascade artifacts of codex-tools-strict-default
failing in the same force-exit shard process — no own defect (171/171 local).
Refs #9985
* fix(test): compression-api — register both describes before the runner starts
The DATA_DIR setup + route/db top-level awaits sat BETWEEN the two describes;
under --test-force-exit (the CI unit-runner flag) the process exits once the
already-registered tests finish, so on slow CI machines the whole second
describe died as 'Promise resolution is still pending' — the recurring
CI-only shard-2 failure that never reproduced locally without the flag.
Moved to the top of the file; 10/10 under --test-force-exit locally.
Refs #9985
* fix(quality): freeze modelCapabilities.ts at 1006 (annotated) — snapshot routing growth
Refs #9985
* fix(quality): move the modelCapabilities freeze into the frozen map (nested schema)
Refs #9985
* fix(i18n): translate all 39,718 pending UI keys across 42 locales (owner-approved)
Mass-translated every __MISSING__ placeholder via the official i18n:sync-ui
--translate-markers pipeline (operator backend), restoring i18nUiCoverage to the
100 baseline (was 89.9 after the merge-storm UI landings + the 42 keys #9038
never shipped).
Post-pass repairs, all caught by the existing gates:
- glossary: retired renderings the machine reintroduced normalized again
響應→回應, 不活躍→未啟用 zh-TW; 클로드→Claude, 옴니루트→OmniRoute ko);
- ICU integrity: 120 values with renamed/dropped {params} repaired (39
positional renames, 81 reset to the en source — functional over fluent)
Validation: glossary/pt-BR/vi/deno-relay/settings-keys/value-drift/google-
loopback suites 76/76; placeholder diff en×42 locales = 0; worst-locale
coverage = 100.0%.

Remove the Puter provider (id `puter`, alias `pu`) entirely, at the
request of Puter's owner, Nariman Jelveh:
- registry entry (open-sse/config/providers/registry/puter/) and
PuterExecutor (open-sse/executors/puter.ts), with their registrations
- API-key preset card (gateways.ts), provider icon and public SVG asset
- 33 free-model catalog entries (pool `puter`)
- authHint i18n key across all 43 UI locales
- credential-requirement frozen-list entry and related comments
- docs: ARCHITECTURE, CODEBASE_DOCUMENTATION, FREE_TIERS (removal note),
PROVIDER_REFERENCE regenerated (337 providers), translated doc mirrors,
llm.txt + its 42 i18n mirrors, README/AGENTS/package.json counts
(338→337 providers, 144→145 migrations) and the 5 canonical SVGs
- migration 152 cleans up stored puter connections/keys/custom models;
historical usage records are preserved (same principle as migration 151)
- regression guard: tests/unit/puter-provider-removed.test.ts; puter
fixtures in shared tests swapped for neutral providers; translate-path
golden snapshot regenerated
Historical CHANGELOG mentions are intentionally preserved; the removal
carries its own CHANGELOG entry.

* docs(reference): regenerate PROVIDER_REFERENCE from live provider modules
The catalog was hand-stale at 291 since 2026-08-05 while the live provider
modules define 338 unique IDs. The generator also omitted the NOAUTH_PROVIDERS
module entirely (10 providers) and hardcoded the executor count in its footer;
both are now sourced from the live modules.
Refs #9985
* docs: refresh stale counts across README/AGENTS/llm.txt and architecture docs
Every count updated to values measured from the live code on 2026-08-12:
providers 291/271/248/236/226/212->338, migrations 110/117/130->144, MCP tools
94/99/104->105 (base 42->43), scopes 13/32->31, strategies 17/18->19,
Auto-Combo factors 12/13->14 (sessionAvailability row added to the table),
executors 67/78/84/89->101, quality gates ~48->~80, locales 29/30/39/40+->43
(41 non-source), A2A skills 5->6 (list-capabilities), free tier 43 pools/516
models/~1.53B/~2.15B->42/495/~1.51B/~2.13B, contributors 500+->320+ (324
unique emails), llm.txt version 3.8.47->3.8.50. llm.txt i18n mirrors resynced
(headers preserved, body mirrored).

* docs(diagrams): sync SVG hero/pillars/comparison/cli/tier numbers
Text nodes and aria-labels only; layout, coordinates and animation values
untouched. providers 278/290->338 (cli list footer 264->334 more), MCP tools
104->105, strategies 18->19, free tier 43 pools/460+/516 models->42/495,
headline ~1.53B/~2.15B->~1.51B/~2.13B. All six SVGs re-validated as XML.

* feat(check): harden docs-counts gate - live provider source, llm.txt, migrations, SVGs
The gate trusted PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md as the provider total, so a hand-stale
doc (291 vs 338 live) kept it falsely green. New STRICT checks: doc total vs
the live provider modules (same collections the generator unions), provider
count in llm.txt and package.json description, migration count vs
README/AGENTS/llm.txt, and a canonical-number sweep (providers/MCP
tools/strategies/pools) over the six README SVG diagrams with
coordinate/attribute-safe patterns. TDD: 9 new unit tests (red first on the
missing exports, green after) in tests/unit/check-docs-counts-sync.test.ts.

* feat(devin-desktop): replace public Windsurf provider
* fix(migrations): renumber Devin Desktop migration to 151 (avoid 147 collision)
147_windsurf_to_devin_desktop.sql collided with the released
147_api_keys_model_access_mode.sql — getMigrationFiles throws
"Migration version collision detected" on every DB start. Base occupies
slots up to 150, so renumber the new migration to 151 and point the
windsurf→devin RENAMED_MIGRATION_COMPATIBILITY entries (and tests) at it.
147 is freed in KNOWN_GAPS since 147_api_keys now owns the slot.
