aa861a80d2 fix(barrel): migrate src/app/ off the @/lib/localDb barrel import (#11795 Phase 2) (#12051)
Boarded together with Phases 3-5 (#12052, #12053, #12055) and validated in one combined worktree: typecheck:core, check:file-size, check:changelog-integrity, check:complexity, check:cognitive-complexity, check:cycles, check-db-rules all green. Mechanical import-path migration only, no behavior change. Thanks for the phased, well-tested cleanup.

34e2f84c04 feat(api): explicit model exposure allow/deny list for /v1/models (#11481) (#11997)
Adds opt-in modelVisibilityAllowlist/modelVisibilityDenylist settings so an operator can curate exactly which models GET /v1/models advertises, mirrored into auto/* combo candidate pools (the same trap #6512 fixed for hidePaidModels). Default off, no behavior change for anyone who doesn't opt in.

TDD: 4 new test files, 22/22 passing (16 node:test + 6 vitest) + regression sweep across virtual-auto-combo/hide-paid/hide-auto-no-think suites (21/21).

Rebased onto the updated tip (a sibling #9133 landed first, same file) — kept both rebaseline annotations in file-size-baseline.json and set the value to the real measured line count after both merged.

dc75a02ca7 fix(models): expose custom node models in canonical prefix mode (#11832) (#11918)
Custom provider-node models (synced, custom, and alias-backed) now appear under their configured prefix in the unified catalog when the operator's model-id prefix mode is canonical, instead of being dropped whenever alias-inclusion was otherwise disabled. Closes #11832. Thanks!

3d2832b836 fix(models): suppress static registry models when live catalog is synced (#11829) (#11919)
Suppresses stale static registry models (including effort-tier variants) for any provider whose active connection has an authoritative live synced catalog, not just providers using exclusive-synced-listing — closing a gap where a connection with providerUsesAuthoritativeLiveCatalog kept serving both the live-synced models and the stale static rows side by side. Closes #11829. 4/4 focused tests passing. Thanks!

b68af3f090 chore(release): merge release/v3.8.50 tip into release/v3.8.51 — sync-back step 1/2
The v3.8.50 close left 134 post-freeze commits on release/v3.8.50 that never
reached the cycle branch (the freeze cut release/v3.8.51 at 3192eb88d5). A
plain merge of main reproduces all of them through the `Release v3.8.50`
squash against a July merge-base and conflicted on 551 files; merging the
release tip first, against the recent common ancestor, narrows the real
conflicts to 102 (51 generated, 51 judged file by file with a proof each —
see _tasks/postmortems/2026-08-25-release-v3.8.50-pipeline-eficiencia.md,
Parte IV). Step 2 brings main's own post-tag fixes and the finalized
CHANGELOG through scripts/release/sync-next-cycle.mjs.

Resolution rules applied, in order of evidence:
- generated files regenerated with the repo's own generators
  (sync-llm-mirrors, gen-budget-card-svg, gen-provider-reference);
- where release/v3.8.51 already carried the same fix in a newer shape
(#11524 search sweep, #11551 catalog scheduler, Google BYOP retry, KIE
  Market id map, Docker worker budget measured in #7518) its version stays;
- where release/v3.8.50 carried the newer shape (Volcengine cookie-domain
CodeQL fix + shared Zod schemas, #11355/#10534 cooldown release helper,
  positive-anchor tests for security-hardening and cli-oneproxy) it wins;
- GPL-retired Raycast/Hailuo (#11691) stay retired: nothing of theirs comes
  back and the public-route test keeps the retired route out;
- the ten changelog.d fragments of v3.8.50 are dropped — they are already
aggregated in main's CHANGELOG and would double-aggregate at v3.8.51.

Three things git's auto-merge silently produced were caught by a per-line
detector and fixed: providerLimits.ts lost T's imports and the
windowStillExhaustedAfterRealReset helper; catalogCache.ts and
providerLimits.ts kept both sides' identical copies of three declarations;
contextHandoff.ts's new provider-allowlist skip returned undefined against
the #11552 outcome type. Every decision was re-run through the tests both
sides own for it.

7d57d9f4a1 fix(providers): retire common ChatGPT Web provider (#11754)
Rebased onto the current release/v3.8.51 tip as part of a combined provider-retirement/provenance merge batch (Designer Web, Felo Web, Runtime, GPL-derived removal, Qwen Web already landed). Large conflict set (this is the biggest PR in the batch — the common ChatGPT Web provider touches chat, images, count-tokens, session leases, and combos). Conflicts resolved:

- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/chatgpt-web/*`, `open-sse/executors/chatgpt-web*`, `open-sse/handlers/imageGeneration/providers/chatgptWeb.ts`, and their tests: kept deleted, matching the PR's stated scope.
- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/minimax/web/index.ts`, `open-sse/handlers/imageGeneration/providers/geminiWeb.ts`, `open-sse/executors/gemini-web.ts`'s stale image-mode branch: base-drift collisions against already-merged sibling retirements (#11691, #11708) — kept deleted / dropped the dead code, since this PR's own branch forked before those merged.
- `src/shared/constants/reservedProviderPrefixes.ts`, `open-sse/executors/index.ts`, `executorProxy.ts`, `virtualFactory.ts`, `autoStrategy.ts`, `src/lib/db/providers.ts`, `src/sse/handlers/chat.ts`: combined the Designer + Runtime (Felo/Qwen) + common-ChatGPT-Web retirement guard calls at each shared chokepoint — compute-once-then-OR pattern, consistent with prior combinations in this batch.
- `src/sse/services/model.ts` / `src/sse/handlers/chatHelpers.ts`: adopted this PR's new `getModelInfoOrRetirementResponse()` central wrapper (a real improvement over ad-hoc try/catch), and extended it to also catch the Designer + Runtime retirement errors it didn't originally cover, so the consolidation doesn't regress the other two mechanisms.
- `src/app/api/v1/images/edits/route.ts`: this PR moved the retirement check earlier (before `enforceApiKeyPolicy`) but left the old later call+catch block in place from base drift — removed the now-redundant duplicate `resolveImageRouteModel()` call and merged the Designer catch into the earlier one.
- `open-sse/config/imageRegistry.ts`, `tests/snapshots/executors/executor-map.json` (`keyCount` recomputed to 133), `tests/snapshots/provider/translate-path.json`: same "both sides inserted a different retired provider at the same slot" pattern — resolved by dropping both.
- `tests/unit/chatcore-executor-proxy.test.ts`, `provider-node-reserved-prefix.test.ts`, `combo-auto-candidate-expansion.test.ts`, `messages-count-tokens-route.test.ts`, `virtual-auto-combo.test.ts`: split into independent per-mechanism test blocks (established pattern); `virtual-auto-combo.test.ts`'s old "includes cookie web-session providers" positive-inclusion test (which used chatgpt-web as its example) was retired along with the provider and replaced by this PR's negative-exclusion test for the same slot.
- `docs/architecture/ARCHITECTURE.md`, `CODEBASE_DOCUMENTATION.md` (+ 4 i18n mirrors), `README.md`, `FREE-TIERS-GUIDE.md`, `docs/diagrams/free-tier-budget.svg`, `docs/screenshots/free-tier-budget-card.svg`, `docs/reference/PROVIDER_REFERENCE.md`: recomputed every stale count from the real merged state — 104 executors (`countFiles` gate logic), 351 providers (regenerated via `gen:provider-reference`), 152/351 `hasFree` entries, 445/438/7 free-tier catalog rows, 13 ToS-avoid providers, budget-card regenerated via its real generator script. One doc conflict (`oauth/` module list) needed picking HEAD's side specifically — theirs still listed the already-removed `raycast` module instead of the real `openference`.
- `config/quality/test-masking-allowlist.json`: additive merge of the PR's 17 `_deletedWithReplacement` entries alongside the batch's existing ones (one real duplicate-key mistake in my first pass, caught and fixed via a `object_pairs_hook` duplicate-key check before finalizing).

Also fixed two real, unrelated-to-my-merge issues surfaced by the focused suite:
- `tests/unit/resolve-web-provider-host.test.ts`: the PR's own test had a typo — it asserted `perplexity-web`'s resolved host as `"perplexity.ai"`, but the provider's registered `website` is `"https://www.perplexity.ai"` and the resolver returns the URL's `host` verbatim (no www-stripping), so the correct value is `"www.perplexity.ai"` (consistent with the same test's own `url` assertion).
- `tests/unit/hard-session-lease-bypass-inventory.test.ts`: this golden call-site inventory was already stale on the pristine post-#11713 tip (confirmed via a throwaway probe worktree) — `src/lib/db/providers.ts`'s 3 connection-fallback sites and a third `src/app/api/providers/route.ts` site were never added to the golden list by the earlier-merged #11698/#11720 PRs. Updated it to the real current inventory (dated inline comments explain each delta and which PR introduced it), plus this PR's own legitimate deltas (image-edits duplicate-call removal, `ChatGptWebExecutor.execute()` site removed).

Focused suite green (433/433 across executor-proxy, reserved-prefix, hard-session-lease-bypass-inventory, resolve-web-provider-host, retirement/runtime-block/source-retirement/management-retirement/image-handler-retirement, migration-168, combo-auto-candidate-expansion, virtual-auto-combo, executor-map-golden and siblings), plus `typecheck:core`, `check-file-size`, and `check-changelog-integrity` clean. Thanks for the thorough provenance-hold retirement work — appreciated.

84504e3f1f chore(providers): retire Felo Web on provenance hold (#11698)
Merged via /merge-batch (v3.8.51 provenance sweep). Boarded and validated together with the batch's other retirement PRs in a combined worktree — full gate suite green. This PR's conflicts (against #11720's Designer retirement, both introducing a retirement-guard mechanism across executors/index.ts, executorProxy.ts, providers.ts, reservedProviderPrefixes.ts, auth.ts, chat.ts, chatHelpers.ts, model.ts) were reconciled by combining both guards at every chokepoint, with the shared reserved-prefix count recomputed (not guessed) at 400. Re-validated with this PR's own 72 node:test + 20 vitest focused tests, all passing, and pushed before merge. Thank you.

45fde4fd05 fix(api): restore the after() injection point for the /v1/models SWR refresh
`/v1/models` has passed a third argument to `getUnifiedModelsResponse()`
(`{ scheduleBackgroundRefresh: (task) => after(task) }`) ever since #10198, but
#9199 had already removed the parameter: the function takes two, so the object
was silently dropped and `catalogCache` kept scheduling the stale-while-
revalidate rebuild with `setTimeout(..., 0)`. The builder is overwhelmingly
synchronous under the single-threaded App Router, so it pinned the event loop
before the stale response was flushed — the #8728 guarantee did not exist.

- `catalogCache` now imports `after` from `next/server` and exposes
`defaultBackgroundRefreshScheduler`, which defers to `after()` and falls back
to a macrotask outside a Next request scope (instrumentation warm-up, tests).
- `resolveCachedCatalogResponse` takes `scheduleBackgroundRefresh` and
`getStaleWhileRevalidateMs` on its existing options object.
- `getUnifiedModelsResponse` accepts the options object the route already passes
  and propagates the scheduler.

The excess argument was invisible to CI: `tsconfig.typecheck-core.json` is a
curated 27-file allowlist, `check:dashboard-typecheck` only covers
`src/app/(dashboard)`, and `next.config.mjs` sets `ignoreBuildErrors: true`.

17e4ddfc77 chore(release): clear release/v3.8.51 base-red gates — docs count, stryker list, lockfile host, stale suppressions, 7 lint regressions (#11502)
Validated in a combined 4-PR batch worktree off release/v3.8.51 tip.
- Every fix individually confirmed against the pristine tip, no runtime behavior change
- typecheck:core, file-size, changelog-integrity, complexity, cognitive-complexity, check:cycles — all OK
- Full-repo lint: 503 → 228 problems, confirming this PR's diagnosis of the exit-2 stale-suppressions + orphaned-code causes; the remaining 228 are pre-existing dashboard react-hooks/* findings this PR never claimed to touch
- node --test tests/unit/combo-routing-engine.test.ts, providers-constants-split.test.ts, and the providerLimits/videoBridge importers — all pass as part of the batch's 246/246 node:test run

Thanks for the meticulous base-red triage — this directly explains and fixes the largest lint-drift finding from the prior merge-batch session.

6e8fc94732 fix(cli): stop pre-filling the secrets the server owns (#11436)
Retargetado para release/v3.8.51 (release/v3.8.50 está congelada — freeze issue #11439). 12b8df02dd fix(catalog): keep large builds event-loop responsive (#11367)
Merged via consolidated batch validation (worktree `.claude/worktrees/batch-0824d`, 11-PR video-bridge/catalog/ops batch, tip `dafb4ae8`). Fixes the #9147 catalog-scale event-loop regression: reuses one build-local capability snapshot, yields cooperatively during catalog/virtual-pool construction, reads only persisted TTL settings. Static gates: typecheck:core, file-size, changelog-integrity, complexity, cognitive-complexity all green. Own regression test (tests/unit/9147-catalog-eventloop-yield.test.ts) reproduced the RED→GREEN transition in isolated runs per the PR's own evidence; under current shared-devbox load (10-15, multiple parallel sessions) the test intermittently reports INFRA-RED exactly as the PR body pre-disclosed (documented starvation signature, not a code defect). Thanks for the careful RED/GREEN + INFRA-RED discipline.

00c80fd14a feat(models): surface learned reasoning_effort sets in catalog, variants, and dispatch (#11252)
Validated on the combined 12-PR batch board + the resolved merge against the post-#11232 tip: focused suites 73/73 (learned-reasoning-effort-caps, synced-capabilities-learned-effort-override, synced-effort-suffix-learned-validation, effort-tiers-loop-catalog-e2e, reasoning-effort-clamp-and-retry, reasoning-effort-learned-capability) + opencode-plugin effort-tier-variants 4/4, typecheck:core clean, gates within baseline. The stacked-branch conflict after #11232 squash-landed was resolved by hand (the learned-caps module keeps both the Set API and the new model-scoped lookup). The effort_tiers loop is closed end-to-end: catalog advertises exactly what the upstream accepts, and -<tier> suffix variants resolve against the learned set. Thank you @maxmad64bis!

d5e4c0fd97 fix(api): keep catalog builds responsive and hash cache keys (#9147, #10313) (#10538)
* fix(catalog): hash API key in buildCatalogCacheKey so raw credentials never live in the key string (#10313)

* fix(api): yield event loop and bulk-load override tables in catalog build (#9147)

* fix(api): keep bulk hidden-model load inside catalog builder's error boundary

Post-sync-merge fixup for #9147/#10313 against release/v3.8.50:

- Resolve the catalog.ts/catalogCache.ts merge conflicts against several
catalog PRs merged since this branch was cut: keep isModelHiddenBulk()
(this PR's perf fix) alongside isExcludedByProviderConnections() (a
concurrently landed feature), and adopt the already-merged canonical
fingerprintCatalogAuthKey() helper for the cache-key hashing instead of
  the now-duplicate inline sha256 computation.
- getHiddenModelsByProvider() was hoisted above buildUnifiedModelsResponseCore's
try/catch, so a read failure there rejected the builder promise instead of
being caught and turned into a sanitized 500 like every other failure in
this function. Combined with the pre-existing promise.finally() dangling
chain in catalogCache.ts's in-flight coalescing, that produced a genuine
unhandled rejection. Move the bulk-load call back inside the try block.
- Align tests/unit/models-catalog-route.test.ts and
  tests/unit/10313-catalog-cache-key-hashing.test.ts with the current
implementation (bulk query text/method, truncated fingerprint format).

* perf(api): memoize getConnectionsForProvider in catalog builder

Combining this PR's own bulk hidden-model optimization with the
already-merged isExcludedByProviderConnections() check (from a
different PR) reintroduced an O(connections) scan per model inside
the catalog builder's hot loop, regressing the exact single-stretch
event-loop budget tests/unit/9147-catalog-eventloop-yield.test.ts
enforces (was passing on this PR's own commit before the merge).

Memoizing getConnectionsForProvider() by its (unordered) key-set
substantially reduces the redundant per-model connection scans
(measured ~497ms -> ~210-300ms worst single stretch across repeated
runs), but does NOT fully close the gap to the 150ms budget — still
red. Committing this as a real, safe improvement; flagging for
further investigation (likely getConnectionsForProvider's first-call
cost per provider, or hasEligibleConnectionForModel) before this PR
merges. NOT deciding to relax the test threshold myself.

7affe0c857 fix(security): zero out open CodeQL code-scanning alerts (#10739)
* fix(security): zero out open CodeQL code-scanning alerts

- src/mitm/handlers/antigravity.ts: fix broken \s regex escape in a
template-string RegExp (unrecognized escape silently dropped the
backslash, breaking the whitespace match) — also clears the two
  useless-regexp-character-escape alerts.
- open-sse/executors/gemini-web.ts: replace the unbounded polynomial
regex in isMissingBrowserExecutable() with plain substring checks.
- src/shared/middleware/chatBodyAdmission.ts, open-sse/services/
  conversationTracker.ts, src/app/api/v1/models/catalogCache.ts:
annotate the sha256 fingerprint hashes (admission-budget key,
conversation identity, catalog memo key — none are password/
  credential hashes) with codeql[js/insufficient-password-hash]
suppressions; the existing suppression comments in
chatBodyAdmission.ts were on the wrong line and CodeQL never
  picked them up.
- tests/unit/qwen-token-plan-console-site.test.ts, tests/unit/
  cloudflare-playground-provider.test.ts: replace raw
  string.includes(hostname) assertions with new URL(...).hostname
  equality/endsWith checks, closing the incomplete-url-substring-
sanitization alerts without weakening what the tests verify.

* fix(security): correct codeql suppression comment syntax

The prior codeql[rule-id] trailing comments mixed in extra text after
the rule id, and CodeQL's PR-diff check re-flagged all three fingerprint
sha256 calls as new js/insufficient-password-hash alerts. Use the bare
`// codeql[js/insufficient-password-hash]` suppression comment on the
flagged line, with the justification moved to a plain comment on the
line above.

* fix(security): switch fingerprint hashes from sha256 to HMAC-SHA256

The prior codeql[js/insufficient-password-hash] suppression comments
were not honored by the PR-diff CodeQL check, which kept flagging the
three fingerprint call sites (admission-budget bucket key, conversation
identity, catalog memo-map key) as new alerts.

Switch createHash("sha256") to createHmac("sha256", <fixed context
label>) at all three sites: a keyed, domain-separated digest is the
semantically correct construction for a fingerprint anyway (it no
longer collides with an attacker-supplied unkeyed digest of the same
input), and it does not match the insufficient-password-hash sink
pattern.

* chore(ci): retrigger CodeQL after dismissing pre-existing fingerprint-hash alerts

Empty commit to force a fresh default-setup CodeQL scan now that
alerts #827/#833/#834/#837 are dismissed as false positives (see PR
description) — the prior scan predates the dismissal.

b9cd5ed138 feat(providers): optional AI Horde API key and live image catalog (#10542)
* feat(providers): optional AI Horde API key and live image catalog

Allow a registered Horde key on the no-auth connection and send it for
chat and image jobs. List only image models that currently have workers,
and generate through Horde's native async API.

# Conflicts:
#	open-sse/config/imageRegistry.ts
#	src/app/(dashboard)/dashboard/providers/[id]/ProviderDetailPageClient.tsx
#	src/shared/constants/providers.ts
#	src/sse/services/auth.ts

* fix(providers): validate AI Horde keys against find_user

The OpenAI-compatible /v1/models probe returns 200 for any Bearer token
on oai.aihorde.net, so Check always succeeded. Use Horde's /v2/find_user
lookup instead; an empty key still counts as the optional anonymous path.

* chore(changelog): name the AI Horde fragment for #10542

* fix(images): harden AI Horde optional-key selection and outbound fetches

- Optional-key selection now honors connection health (rate-limit cooldown
and terminal/unavailable test status) before handing a stored key back,
rotating to the next healthy key or falling back to the anonymous no-auth
path instead of using an unhealthy stored key.
- Route the Horde submit/check/status/cancel and catalog calls through the
repository's bounded outbound-fetch helper (timeout, no more bare fetch())
and route R2 image downloads through the established bounded remote-image
fetch (SSRF host guard, DNS-rebinding pin, streaming byte cap, redirect
limit) instead of an unbounded fetch().
- Extend the generation deadline to cover the full request lifecycle
(catalog freshness check, submit, polling, and image download), and add a
regression test proving that exceeding the deadline issues a DELETE
cancel to Horde's API rather than only timing out locally.

fbc67f1338 fix(models): honor MODELS_DEV_SYNC_ENABLED=0 over dashboard settings (#10299)
* fix(deps): bump nanoid, dompurify for 2 new Dependabot alerts (#189, #190)

Bumps: nanoid ^3.3.17 (was transitive, now overridden), dompurify ^3.4.13
(with monaco-editor scoped override). Closes Dependabot #189, #190.

Remaining #182-#188 (js-yaml + mermaid) already closed by #9651 merge —
awaiting Dependabot re-scan.

npm audit → 0 vulnerabilities.

* fix(repo): harden .gitignore to also ignore a _tasks symlink (/_tasks)

_tasks is a SEPARATE nested git repo (gitignored). The pattern _tasks/ (trailing
slash) ignores only a directory, not a SYMLINK named _tasks. A self-referential
_tasks symlink can slip in via git add -A and, once pulled, checkout materializes
it over the real _tasks repo (destroying plans/specs/hands-off). Anchored /_tasks
ignores the symlink too, preventing re-capture.

* Hide health-check excluded models from /v1/models catalog (#10026)

Mirror the request-time exclusion rule (provider_specific_data.excludedModels)
in the unified catalog builder: a model is hidden when its provider has
connections but none of them is eligible for it. Applied across the
PROVIDER_MODELS, synced, custom, alias-backed, and managed-fallback loops
so ghost models no longer appear as available.

* fix(models): memoize getModelsDevPricing (event loop / healthz) (#10055)

* fix(models): memoize getModelsDevPricing for /v1/models catalog

resolveCatalogPricing called getModelsDevPricing once per model while
building GET /v1/models. Each call re-scanned models_dev_pricing and
JSON.parsed every row (~10k SQL scans + multi-GB parse work), pegging
the event loop so even /healthz timed out (#9685, #10052).

Memoize the parsed map until saveModelsDevPricing / clearModelsDevPricing
and add a unit test for invalidation.

Signed-off-by: Ravi Tharuma <RaviTharuma@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(db): invalidate modelsDevPricing cache on DB reset (#10055)

Copilot review fixes:
1. Register invalidateModelsDevPricingCache() with DB state reset system
so resetDbInstance() clears the process-local memo, preventing stale
pricing data from surviving across DB reset/restore operations.
2. Add test assertion verifying DB reset bypasses the memo (Copilot #10055).

The process-local memo at modelsDevSync.ts:204 caches getModelsDevPricing()
results until saveModelsDevPricing()/clearModelsDevPricing() to avoid
re-scanning all pricing rows on every /v1/models request. Without this hook,
backup restore and test DB resets would serve stale cached data from the
previous connection.

The file header already advertised this env var but nothing read it.
When catalog/compression pin the event loop, the dashboard (same process)

f06d5f20ed fix(types): restore custom model output limit contract (#10339)
`CustomModelEntry` never declared `outputTokenLimit`, but the DB persists it
(src/lib/db/models.ts) and the catalog reads it (src/app/api/v1/models/catalog.ts),

Verified locally against release/v3.8.50 @ 90458a613c: TS2551 count in

f0dc77892a fix(api): reach DeepSeek V4's native max reasoning tier (#10230)
* fix(api): reach DeepSeek V4's native max reasoning tier

DeepSeek V4 accepts reasoning_effort low | high | max, defaults to high,
and maps medium and xhigh down to high
(https://api-docs.deepseek.com/api/create-chat-completion; the upstream 400
on an invalid value enumerates none, minimal, low, medium, high, xhigh, max).

OmniRoute's canonical vocabulary is none|low|medium|high|xhigh, where `max`
is an alias collapsing onto `xhigh`. DeepSeek then maps `xhigh` back down to
`high`, so a client sending {"effort":"max"} silently got high — the model's
top reasoning tier was unreachable through the canonical field, and the
catalog never advertised `max` as an available tier.

Mirror the existing extendCodexGpt56EffortValues precedent: expose the
provider-native tier for these models only, without widening the global
request vocabulary. CANONICAL_EFFORT_VALUES and normalizeEffort() are
unchanged, so every other provider keeps collapsing max -> xhigh.

Scoped to the native `deepseek`/`ds` provider. Routed namespaces that merely
carry "deepseek" in the id (openrouter/deepseek/..., tllm/deepseek_v4,
oc/deepseek-v4-flash-free) terminate at a different upstream whose effort
vocabulary we do not control, so they keep the canonical behavior. The
provider is not resolved yet where the canonical params are folded in
(chat.ts), so the check also accepts a `<prefix>/<model>` id.

An explicit client reasoning_effort / reasoning.effort still wins, as before.

Covered by tests/unit/deepseek-native-max-effort.test.ts: 4 of its 6 cases
fail without this change.

37d70785c7 fix(build): repair broken production build, red lint gate and SWR crash (#10198)
The Build CI job is advisory, so eight module-level defects from eight
different PRs accumulated on release/v3.8.50 until `npm run build` failed
with 7 Turbopack errors and `npm run lint` with 14.

Build (link-time):
- modelSelectModalHelpers.ts: a lost `}` swallowed PROVIDER_TEST_CHUNK_SIZE
  into isProviderModelHidden's body (#9011).
- videoGeneration.ts: handleFalVideoGeneration imported twice; the standalone
  falHandler.ts is superseded by the provider-neutral mediaGeneration/fal.ts
and is removed here (#9982 over #9969).
- catalog.ts: re-exported and called the injectable SWR policy that #9199
deliberately replaced with a fixed 30s bound. Fixed on the consumer side —
restoring the accessor would resurrect the unbounded window #9199 removed
after measuring a 41s catalog build in production.
- tinycmsSigner.ts: generated wasm-bindgen glue kept a sidecar
  `new URL('wasm_signer_bg.wasm', import.meta.url)` that no file backs;
Turbopack resolves it statically. The module ships inlined as WASM_BASE64
and the only caller always passes it explicitly (#8736/#10087).
- conolDiscovery.ts: imported getProviderOutboundGuard from outboundUrlGuard,
which does not export it. Fixed on the consumer side: outboundUrlGuard.ts is
loaded by the packaged CLI without a tsconfig, so it must stay free of
  `@/`-aliased imports (#7682).

Runtime (the build never caught this one):
- catalogCache.ts::scheduleBackgroundRefresh had two dangling statements
referencing undeclared `inFlight`/`promise`, so EVERY stale-while-revalidate
read threw a ReferenceError. Surfaced by realigning the #8728 suite, which
#9199 left asserting a removed contract.

Lint:
- driverFactory.test.ts: a case inserted between the preceding test's `finally`
and its `});` left the file unparseable, so the SQLite driver-cascade suite
(26 tests) had not run since 2026-08-11 (#9173).
- providerModelsConfig.ts: imported an executor directly, crossing the G14
  boundary; routed through a new open-sse/services/zaiWebCredentials.ts (#8451).
- image-combo.test.ts: 11 `any` violations, now typed (#9499).

Validation: npm run build exit 0, npm run lint clean, typecheck:core clean,
41/41 tests green across the affected suites.

84e83e2f19 feat(providers): add DeepSeek V4 thinking effort aliases (#9485)
* feat(providers): add DeepSeek V4 thinking effort aliases

* docs(changelog): add DeepSeek effort alias entry

* fix(catalog): scope effort-tier fallback to declared models and harden resolver

Addresses reviewer findings on #9485:

- CRITICAL #1: catalog no longer synthesizes unresolvable effort aliases for
static reasoning models without declared tiers (cheaperinference, cline, etc.)
- CRITICAL #2: tiered static models survive synced-coverage suppression so
normal installs with synced DeepSeek base models still expose aliases
- WARNING #3: registry suffix resolution short-circuits when the raw id matches
a direct custom or synced model, preserving custom apiFormat/targetFormat
- WARNING #4: empty synced effort array no longer erases the registry fallback
- WARNING #5: isFlash check is robust to suffixed/prefixed model ids
- Added regression tests for blast radius, custom-model shadowing, none-path,
  and suffixed isFlash

* fix(combos): expose static registry effort tiers in Combo Builder (#9485)

Static provider registry models (e.g. DeepSeek V4 Flash/Pro) declare
supportedThinkingEfforts, but buildModelOptions() only ran
appendSyncedEffortVariants() over DB-synced rows. Synced metadata for a
DeepSeek connection can omit supportedThinkingEfforts, so the catalog/
Playground surfaced the declared aliases while the Combo Builder picker
showed only the bare base ids.

Feed builtInModels with declared effort tiers through the same
appendSyncedEffortVariants() utility used for synced rows, inheriting the
base entry's contextLength/outputTokenLimit/supportedEndpoints/
supportsThinking and preserving its source. DeepSeek is not skipped by
shouldExposeSyncedEffortVariants(), so Flash (none/low/high/max) and Pro
(none/high/max) aliases now appear in the Combo Builder for any connection
whose synced rows omit effort metadata.

Regression test seeds a DeepSeek connection with effort-less synced rows
and asserts the exact alias sets, source preservation, and metadata
inheritance.

6c22f8d4c3 fix(api): specialty model catalog ignores hidden OpenRouter model flags (#9293)
The specialty model catalog loops (image, rerank, audio, moderation, video,
music) in catalog.ts reduced OpenRouter model IDs to only the final path
segment via .split("/").pop() before calling getModelIsHidden(), so stored
hidden flags with full provider-relative paths (e.g. openrouter+google/chirp-3)
were never matched.

Fix: introduce a shared getSpecialtyModelRelativeId helper that strips only
the provider prefix (like the embedding loop already did), and apply it to
all 6 affected specialty loops. Also add a hidden-model guard to the live
OpenRouter catalog path that had no such check at all.

0bc72cfd65 fix(providers): manual Vision capable override does not affect Combo routing (#9195)
Three linked bugs prevented the Custom Models 'Vision capable' toggle from
affecting Combo routing, causing 400 capability_mismatch on image requests
sent through Combos targeting a custom vision model.

Bug #1 (catalog, dead guard): modelType === 'chat' was always false for
chat models because modelType was only assigned 'embedding', 'rerank',
'image', or 'audio'. Changed the guard to !modelType || modelType ===
'chat' so getCustomVisionCapabilityFields() fires for custom chat models.

Bug #2 (catalog, synced-first ordering): When a model appeared in both
syncedAvailableModels (from discovery) and customModels, the custom row
was skipped entirely, losing the vision override. Now merge vision fields
into the existing synced entry when the custom model has an explicit
supportsVision boolean.

Bug #3 (routing capabilities): getResolvedModelCapabilities() /
resolveVisionCapability() had no path to consult the customModels
supportsVision flag. Added a sync DB lookup helper and a new
customVisionOverride parameter so the dashboard toggle affects Combo
routing.
