* fix(sse): classify "N API calls / month" 429 text as quota_exhausted

QUOTA_PATTERNS recognized "monthly ... limit" and "per month ... limit",
but not the reversed order providers actually use in trial-key messages —
Cohere's is "You are using a Trial key, which is limited to 1000 API calls
/ month". That 429 fell through to the generic short-backoff rate_limit
path, so a monthly allowance that will not reset for the rest of the
billing cycle kept being retried every few seconds.

Broaden the pattern set to catch both phrase orders and the "N calls /
month" and "N requests/month" spellings.

Observed in production against Cohere trial keys: 481 of 752 429s in 24h
carried this text and were all treated as short transient rate limits.

815dedd3c9 fix(resilience): extend process crash guard to combo hedge cancels and upstream fetch failures (#13636) (#14064)
Closes a real process-killer: the direct-response start timeout could fire after the fetch promise had already settled, and aborting at that point delivered the abort reason to a promise nobody was awaiting — Node promotes that to an `unhandledRejection` → `uncaughtException` and the process dies (#12861). The timer is now a no-op once the attempt has settled, and the same guard is extended to combo hedge cancels and upstream fetch failures.

Validated as a combined board first (this PR merged with the 11 siblings of the same batch on the release tip): eslint on every changed file with the suppressions file, typecheck:core, check:open-sse-typecheck, complexity, cognitive-complexity, changelog-integrity, i18n new-key coverage, docs-sync, migration-numbering, provider-consistency and a duplicate-identifier audit all green, plus 275 passing / 0 failing focused node:test cases across the 28 test files the batch touches. Then re-validated alone on the fresh tip before this merge: conflicts re-resolved, file sizes rebaselined for this PR's own growth, eslint and this PR's focused tests re-run.

* feat(api): add per-key allowAutoCombos to gate the built-in auto/* combos

`auto/*` combos currently bypass per-key authorization entirely. They are
virtual — synthesised in the catalog, never stored as combo rows — so
`resolveRequestedComboName()` returns null for them and
`isComboAllowedForKey()` fails open:

`validateModelAccess()` then sets `requestedComboName = modelStr` for any
`auto/` id and returns before `isModelAllowedForKey()` runs, so
`allowedModels` and `blockedModels` are skipped for those ids too.

The effect is that `allowedCombos` does not constrain `auto/*`: a key
scoped to a single cheap lane can still send `auto/best-coding` and reach
every model on the gateway. `blockedModels: ["auto/*"]` only unadvertises
the ids — it cannot deny them.

Add an explicit per-key flag instead of tightening the fail-open, which
would silently revoke `auto/*` from every key whose `allowedCombos` lacks
an entry for it. `allow_auto_combos` is NOT NULL DEFAULT 1 and the row
parser treats anything but an explicit falsy value as allowed, so every
existing key keeps working and opting out is deliberate.

When set to false:
  - `validateModelAccess()` rejects `auto/*` for that key;
  - the catalog skips the `auto/*` synthesis loop for it, reusing the
    existing `hideAuto` break so the key is not offered ids it cannot use.

Settable via PATCH /api/keys/[id]. The create path and the dashboard
toggle are deliberately left for a follow-up: the API Manager control
needs UI strings across all message catalogs, which does not belong in
the same change as the policy fix.

* feat(dashboard): add the Auto Combos toggle to API key permissions

Exposes the `allowAutoCombos` flag in the API Manager permissions modal so
the per-key gate can be managed from the dashboard rather than only over
the API.

The control mirrors the prompt-compression toggle: a small dedicated
component, a `role="switch"` button, and labels from the `settings`
message namespace.

Defaults to ON. State reads `apiKey?.allowAutoCombos !== false` — using
`!== false` rather than `=== true` so a key that predates the column, or
one that has never been configured, renders as enabled and matches the
`NOT NULL DEFAULT 1` column.

The field is threaded through all three positional lists (the save
handler signature, the modal prop type and the onSave call) plus the
PATCH payload, so no later argument shifts position.

UI strings are added to en.json and to vi.json. Vietnamese is translated
rather than left as a sync placeholder because
tests/unit/i18n-vi-completeness.test.ts asserts key parity with English
and bans `__MISSING__` markers in that locale. The remaining locales fall
back to English at runtime; `i18n:check-ui-coverage` still passes well
clear of its threshold. They are deliberately not mass-synced here: a
full `i18n:sync-ui` run also replicates ~844 unrelated pre-existing gaps
across all 50 catalogs, which does not belong in this change.

* feat(api): advertise the combo description in /v1/models

A combo's description is stored on its record and returned by
GET /api/combos, but the catalog row never carried it, so no client could
show it.

Claude Code's gateway model discovery reads exactly `id`, `display_name`
and `description` from each entry in the /v1/models `data` array and
renders the description in the /model picker — an entry without one reads
"From gateway" instead. Other OpenAI-compatible clients surface it too.

Emit it only when the combo actually has one, so rows for combos without
a description are byte-identical to before. The value is typeof-narrowed
and trimmed because ComboRecord is Record<string, unknown>, and
`comboMetadata` still spreads last so context and capability metadata
keep precedence.

`display_name` is deliberately not sent: a combo's id is already its
human-chosen name, and the field is only consulted when it differs from
the id.

* fix(api): list a key's allowed combos in /v1/models

`allowedCombos` gates combos; `modelAccessMode`, `allowedModels` and
`blockedModels` gate provider models. The catalog consulted only the
latter, so a key with `modelAccessMode: "restricted"` and an empty
`allowedModels` received an empty catalog — zero rows — while every combo
in its `allowedCombos` dispatched normally. The catalog contradicted the
key.

Observed on a live gateway: a key with 24 entries in `allowedCombos` and
`restricted` + `allowedModels: []` returned {"object":"list","data":[]},
yet `claude-orchestrate` answered 200 on that same key.

Gate combo rows on `allowedCombos` instead of hiding them. Listing a
combo the key can already dispatch grants no new access, so this is a
consistency fix rather than a relaxation, and it needs no opt-in: the
rule is simply that a key's catalog shows what that key can use.

auto/* rows are exempt. They fail open at dispatch — they resolve to no
stored combo — and their synthesis is already gated by allowAutoCombos,
so gating them here would make the catalog stricter than dispatch.

The decision lives in a new exported helper, isComboNameAllowedForKey(),
which wraps the existing matchesComboAccessRule. An absent list means no
combo restriction, matching validateComboAccess, which skips the check
when allowedCombos is not an array; an empty list allows nothing.

Also advertise `display_name` on combo rows from an operator-set
`displayName` field. Claude Code uses it as the picker entry's name when
it differs from the id, which lets a combo carry a discovery-compatible
id and still read cleanly. It is never derived from the combo name — an
unset field advertises nothing.

* fix(api): accept displayName on the combo schemas

The previous commit advertises `display_name` in /v1/models from a
combo's `displayName`, but neither createComboSchema nor
updateComboSchema declared the field, so Zod stripped it from every
request body and the value could never be set. The endpoint would have
answered 200 and written nothing — the feature was unreachable.

This is the same silent no-op that made `blockedModels` unsettable on
API keys: a field plumbed through the route and the store, missing only
its schema declaration.

Declare it on both schemas and count it in updateComboSchema's "no valid
fields" guard, so a body carrying only `displayName` is a valid update
rather than being rejected as empty. Nullable on update so a label can be
cleared.

* feat(api): add per-key catalogScope to scope what /v1/models advertises

A key had no way to say which kinds of thing its catalog should list. It
always advertised whatever the key's model and combo policies permitted,
mixed together. A client that builds its model picker from /v1/models —
Claude Code's gateway discovery, for one — then sees provider models
alongside the curated combos it was meant to offer.

Add a three-way per-key setting: "all" (default), "combos", "models".

This is a listing preference, not an access control: narrowing it never
changes what the key may dispatch, which the model policy and
allowedCombos continue to decide. That is why it is an explicit setting
rather than implied behaviour — unlike gating combo rows on
allowedCombos, which was a correctness fix and needed no opt-in.

Defaults to "all" everywhere: the column, the parser, the metadata and
the UI state, so every existing key is unchanged. The parser widens to
"all" on an unrecognised value rather than narrowing, so a bad value can
never silently hide rows an operator expects to see.

The dashboard control is a segmented radio group beside the Auto Combos
toggle. UI strings are added to en.json and vi.json; the remaining
locales fall back to English, and vi is translated rather than left as a
sync placeholder because tests/unit/i18n-vi-completeness.test.ts asserts
key parity and bans markers there.

* fix(api): invalidate the model catalog on key visibility changes

updateApiKeyPermissions already advances the unified /v1/models catalog
generation for the fields that change what a key may dispatch, but the two
fields this branch introduces -- allowAutoCombos and catalogScope -- were
missing from that predicate. Both change what the catalog advertises, so a
PATCH toggling either one left the request-shaped catalog cache serving the
previous listing until its TTL expired, and the dashboard's API-key screen
could show a catalog that disagreed with the key it had just written.

Add the two fields to the existing predicate -- no new cache machinery. The
call still runs only after a successful write, so a no-op or failed update
does not invalidate, and unrelated metadata edits (isActive, rate limits)
still leave the catalog cached.

Observed on a live deployment before the fix: PATCH catalogScope="combos"
returned 200 and the column read back "combos", yet GET /v1/models kept
returning the previous mixed rows until a process restart, after which the
same key correctly returned combo-only rows.

* chore(quality): rebaseline the two ceilings this PR's own growth moved

src/app/api/v1/models/catalog.ts 2075 -> 2117 and src/lib/db/apiKeys.ts
1625 -> 1659. Measured on the clean tip first: catalog.ts sits at 2074 (under
its 2075 ceiling) and apiKeys.ts at 1620 (under 1625), so none of this is
inherited — it is the feature itself. Gating the built-in auto/* combos per key
means the permission field has to be read, validated and carried all the way to
the catalog filter, and each of those is an explicit call site rather than
something extractable without hiding the gate.

Covered by the PR's 25 tests. The other violations in this tree (chatHelpers.ts,
chatCore.ts, chatcore-translation-paths.test.ts) are inherited base-reds and were
left untouched.

The watchdog is a hard lifetime cap that never resets on bytes, so a flat
15-minute default killed models the registry already allows to run for 20
minutes (the Codex entries declare timeoutMs: 1_200_000). The default is now
that maximum plus a one-minute margin, and a new test re-derives the maximum
from the registry so a future larger budget fails the gate instead of silently
re-opening the bug.

53e3e23c13 fix(api): stop DISABLE_SQLITE_AUTO_BACKUP from turning off Redis rate limiting (#13329)
A backup flag was being used as a proxy for test mode, so `DISABLE_SQLITE_AUTO_BACKUP` also disabled Redis rate limiting — two unrelated concerns riding one variable. Probe on your head: 3/3 + 13/13 pass across the new test and the existing rate-limiter suite.

Thanks, @datrixlab — catching that the existing rate-limiter tests still pass is what shows this untangled the two without changing the intended behavior of either.

**Batch validation** — boarded with the other 10 PRs of your batch into one worktree cut from `release/v3.8.51`; every PR verified as an ancestor of the combined HEAD before validating.

- Focused tests across all 11 PRs: **104/104 pass** on the combined tree.
- Gates on the combined tree: `check-changelog-integrity` PASS, `check-complexity` PASS, `check-cognitive-complexity` PASS, `typecheck:core` PASS, `check:open-sse-typecheck` PASS.
- `check-file-size` is red, but reproduces with byte-identical line counts on the pure `release/v3.8.51` tip (`open-sse/handlers/imageGeneration.ts` 3304, `open-sse/services/combo/roundRobinCombo.ts` 1221, `open-sse/utils/stream.ts` 3115). Inherited base-red, nothing added by this batch — it is also why this PR's "Fast Quality Gates" check was red.

e7999c477b fix(db): bound health scans and isolate native diagnostics (#13717)
Merged after a maintainer rework that kept every one of @HouMinXi's commits intact.

**What the rework added on top of the contribution:** the new DB health-check behaviour is gated behind a default-off feature flag (`src/shared/constants/featureFlagDefinitions.ts`, `defaultValue: "false"`), documented in `docs/reference/FEATURE_FLAGS.md` with the description key carried into all 66 locales, so the release default is unchanged and the new bounds only apply when an operator opts in. The optional-FTS5 migration set was reconciled by hand with the "180" entry that landed meanwhile (`src/lib/db/migrationRunner/constants.ts`).

**Carried from your rebased head:** the `/api/db/health` local-only classification in `src/server/authz/routeGuard.ts` plus its `routeGuard` assertion — `runManagedDbHealthCheck()` forks native diagnostics into a child process, so Hard Rules #15/#17 apply. Re-verified here: 37 pass / 0 fail.

Validated as a combined board first (this PR merged with the 21 siblings of the same wave on the release tip): eslint with the frozen suppressions, typecheck:core, check:open-sse-typecheck, complexity, cognitive-complexity, changelog-integrity, i18n new-key coverage, docs-counts, docs-sync, migration-numbering, provider-consistency and a duplicate-identifier audit all green, plus 176 passing / 0 failing focused node:test cases across the 25 test files the wave touches and the dashboard test under Vitest (2/0). 997cd4d509 fix(sse): stop retry wave on rate-limited 429 and drain 429 once (#13657)
The opencode executor classifies rate-limited 429 bodies (`classify429`, with real tests) and, when a whole account wave is exhausted, returns the last real upstream 429 — status, body, `Retry-After` and quota headers intact — so the provider error rules (monthly-quota cooldown) keep working.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The original stopped the cross-account wave at the first classified 429 and replaced the response with a synthetic one that dropped the body and headers; stopping early is now opt-in behind `OPENCODE_RATE_LIMITED_429_EARLY_STOP` (default off), the rate-limited account is still cooled down, the body is read as a bounded 8 KiB prefix from a clone and the original is never consumed, and the unused `status` input is gone.

Validated first on the combined board of all 38 PRs of this batch (10 merged as-is, 28 after the maintainer rework) on top of release/v3.8.51 c0f92ec: typecheck:core, check:open-sse-typecheck and check:dashboard-typecheck clean; ESLint clean on every changed file; file-size (rebaselined for the combined growth), complexity, cognitive-complexity, changelog-integrity, docs-counts, docs-sync, migration-numbering and i18n new-key gates green; 735 focused node:test cases with the only batch-caused failure (a flag-count assertion) fixed. 94d27e44fe fix(providers): stop parking Mistral connections on a bare 401 with no clear auth failure (#13609)
Behind the new `MISTRAL_AMBIGUOUS_401_SOFT_LOCKOUT` flag (default off), a bare Mistral 401 (`{"detail":"Unauthorized"}`, identical for a revoked key and an exhausted quota) gets a retryable cooldown instead of parking the connection as `expired`; after three soft strikes within an hour the next bare 401 parks it, so revocation still converges.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The predicate is shared with the connection-test module instead of duplicated; the squeezed 139-char line that dodged the file-size gate is formatted normally and the growth is rebaselined honestly with an annotation.

13f44af6e5 fix(sse): pause failover dispatch after repeated transient upstream failures (#13615)
Behind the new `OPENCODE_TRANSIENT_FAILOVER_BACKOFF` flag (default off), after two consecutive transient upstream failures the opencode rotation pauses before each later account (1.5s, 3s, 6s, capped at 10s per request) instead of hammering the upstream.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The pause honors the client abort signal (no dispatch after a disconnect), the failed attempt's body is cancelled before sleeping, `transientRetryDelayMs` now uses its arguments, and the sleep is injectable so the tests run without real timers.

e325888d78 fix(sse): fail over opencode request on refused-route 403 (#13498)
Behind the new `OPENCODE_USER_BLOCKED_ROTATION` flag (default off), a 403 or 451 carrying `user_blocked` on a proxied opencode account rotates at most once to the next account instead of being returned as-is.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- 403 and 451 are handled by one predicate (the original returned 451 without rotation), the refused account gets a cooldown and joins the tried-set, and the response body of the attempt rotated away from is cancelled.

d8c0448293 fix(opencode): rotate once when a Responses stream stalls before its first byte (#13484)
Behind the new `OPENCODE_RESPONSES_STALL_ROTATION` flag (default off): a streamed Responses reply with no first body byte within `RESPONSES_FIRST_BYTE_TIMEOUT_MS` (15s) cools the account and rotates once; a second stall fails fast instead of waiting the 80s readiness timeout.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The TLS first-byte watchdog from #12656 is restored byte for byte (the PR had changed its pump, timer and cancel); the stall guard lives in its own module.
- Proxy-less multi-account setups now rotate the same way as proxied ones (the original threw for them), a client abort during the wait rethrows instead of rotating, and the env var is documented as flag-only.

5cf4316b67 fix(proxy-health): refused probe responses reset the consecutive-failure streak (#13608)
Behind the new `PROXY_HEALTH_BLOCKED_RESETS_STREAK` flag (default off), a probe the target refuses (401/403/429) resets the proxy's consecutive-failure streak, so a proxy that clearly relays is not marked dead by spaced-out real failures.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The original reversed the deliberate #10654 policy for everyone; with the flag off a refusal stays neutral, and the existing assertions are restored. The stale JSDoc and the wrong "any relayed response resets" comment are fixed (5xx stays inconclusive).
- The source-grep test became a real sweep test: a local relay answering 403 drives fail → blocked → fail with auto-disable, in both flag modes.

29d66cbf8c feat(proxies): stop re-serving a proxy that just failed (#13578)
Behind the new `PROXY_SKIP_RECENTLY_FAILED` flag (default off), pool rotation and the opencode account rotation remember a proxy that just failed (refused probe or 429) and skip it for a doubling cooldown instead of re-serving it immediately.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- The original was on by default and re-queried the DB on every request while a member was set aside; selection now caches a refusal sequence number and re-runs the cascade once per set-aside event.
- `src/lib/db` no longer imports the heavy dispatcher for key normalization (a parity test guarantees the same key as `proxyConfigToUrl()`); `.env.example` and `ENVIRONMENT.md` document the default as false.

df87e9363b fix(auth): close the JWT_SECRET bootstrap chain — real-peer loopback, obsidian always-protected, DATA_DIR vault refusal (#13791)
GHSA-7pq4-8pvv-rx7r (critical). Every link of the reported chain held on the
release tip:

1. First boot without JWT_SECRET generates one and writes it in cleartext to
   $DATA_DIR/server.env.
2. With no password configured, isAuthRequired() returned false for
   POST /api/settings/require-login unconditionally — before the loopback
   check — so any network peer could switch requireLogin off.
3. With requireLogin off, POST /api/settings/obsidian/webdav accepted an
   arbitrary vault root and echoed freshly minted Basic credentials.
4. The WebDAV file service is served by the custom Node layer before Next.js,
   outside the authz pipeline.
5. Pointing it at DATA_DIR reads server.env, and JWT_SECRET forges an
   `{"authenticated":true}` admin session.

A second, worse problem surfaced while verifying: isLoopbackRequest() decided
"loopback" from nextUrl.hostname / the Host header, which the client controls.
`Host: localhost` from a remote address made the whole fresh-install bootstrap
reachable, not just the write path.

Three cuts, plus the root cause:

- isLoopbackRequest() now reads the trusted peer: the token-stamped real TCP
  peer the custom server writes (peerStamp), then the pipeline's own locality
  verdict once a stamp token exists, then a real socket peer. The bootstrap
  write path honours the same constraint instead of returning false, and
  managementPolicy hands down the peerContext verdict explicitly, because at
  policy time the original request still carries client-supplied headers.
- Host is consulted only when the process has no stamp token at all — no
  stamping server in front, which in practice means route handlers invoked
  directly by the unit-test harness. Every supported runtime (run-next dev and
  start, standalone-server-ws for Docker, the npm CLI and Electron) calls
  ensurePeerStampToken() at boot, so there a signal-less request fails closed.
  Without this fallback ~340 route tests that call handlers with
  `new Request("http://localhost/…")` turned into 401s.
- /api/settings/obsidian joins ALWAYS_PROTECTED_API_PATHS: issuing and rotating
  reusable WebDAV credentials is credential export, the same rationale as the
  GHSA-62vw entry for the password reveal.
- enableObsidianVaultSync() refuses a vault that is, sits inside, or contains
  DATA_DIR, comparing realpath-resolved paths so a symlink cannot dodge it.

Tests are red-first: remote stamped peer → auth required on the bootstrap
write; Host: localhost plus a forged locality header from a non-loopback
stamped peer → 401 through the full pipeline; the local operator keeps the
first-password flow; obsidian inventory and DATA_DIR overlap cases.

45c54ca8aa fix(dashboard): require provider free-tier for the Free badge (#13645)
The provider-page Free badge can require a free tier the provider actually honors: behind the new `FREE_BADGE_REQUIRES_PROVIDER_FREE_TIER` flag (default off) the display-name "free" heuristic, non-boolean `free` fields and `:free` suffixes on registered providers without a documented free tier no longer light the badge. With the flag off the historical rule is unchanged.

Maintainer rework before merge (kept the idea, no default behavior change):
- `:free` models on free-tier providers and on compatible nodes (OpenRouter-style endpoints) keep the badge in both modes — the original change dropped them.
- Test D derives its provider set from `FREE_MODEL_BUDGETS` instead of a hard-coded allowlist; a vitest render covers both sections with the flag endpoint on, off and erroring.

215ac43a70 fix(proxy): keep proxy credentials holding a literal percent (#13605)
Proxy credentials containing a literal `%` no longer throw `URIError`: every `decodeURIComponent` on proxy user/password is guarded.

- HTTP proxies still failed because undici's `ProxyAgent` decodes the credentials itself; the dispatcher now builds undici's `Basic` token with the safe decoder and passes it as `token`, so a literal `%` works there too.
- The three remaining unguarded sites (`mappers.ts`, `proxySubscription/parse.ts`, `subscriptionService.ts`) are guarded; tests run the real `createProxyDispatcher` against a local HTTP CONNECT proxy and a local SOCKS5 server that record what they received.

Adds a `DISABLE_IOREG_STRATEGY=1` escape hatch to the macOS `ioreg` strategy in `getMachineIdRaw()`, so `machineId.test.ts` can reach the fallback strategies on darwin instead of always resolving the real hardware UUID (#13467).

Adds CJK quota-exhaustion messages (GLM/z.ai 5-hour window, Kimi, Qwen/DashScope, MiniMax, plus Japanese and Korean phrasings) to the 429 quota classifier. They are now `quota_exhausted` (cooldown + failover) instead of a transient `rate_limit` retry loop (#13194). The patterns go into the recoverable `QUOTA_PATTERNS` only, not the terminal set, and a guard case keeps the Chinese transient "请求过于频繁" as `rate_limit`. Chosen over #13536.

8ecdd88c15 fix(pool): diagnose empty pools, align catalog filter, and surface drop reasons (#12795)
Um pool `auto/*` vazio que não diz por que está vazio é a pior forma de falha: o operador vê ausência e não sabe se é config, cota ou catálogo. Registrar qual estágio removeu quantos, e carregar `dropReason` em cada entrada de `quotaHealth.providers`, transforma silêncio em diagnóstico.

Os três defeitos achados de carona valem tanto quanto a feature — em especial a cota livre recorrente sem teto sendo tratada como desconhecida em vez de segura, que é justamente o caso que mais aparece.

Revalidei após reconstruir sobre o tip: **15/15**, typecheck:core limpo, `check-api-typecheck` OK (289).

**Uma mudança minha no `catalogPaidFilter.ts`.** Mantive a sua extração — ela é mais limpa que o predicado inline — mas troquei o corpo para usar `isFreeForProvider` por id. O módulo OR-eava `providerHasFreeModels(resolved) || providerHasFreeModels(canonical)` num único `freeProvider` e depois testava `isFreeModel` em cada um. Com isso, um id cujo próprio provider não documenta tier livre passa a ler como grátis sempre que o alias irmão documenta — que é exatamente o buraco que o #12744 fechou e já está no tip. Por id preserva a garantia; nenhuma outra linha do módulo mudou.

**Dívida registrada:** o `virtualFactory.ts` foi de 1187 para 1219 somando esta onda e cruzou o teto de 1200 pela primeira vez. Congelado com os candidatos a extração nomeados na justificativa.

Validado numa worktree combinada com a onda de roteamento/free-tier desta leva sobre `release/v3.8.51`: typecheck:core limpo, check-api-typecheck OK (288), check-file-size OK após rebaseline, 84/85 nos testes focados no runner Node.

Parar de honrar `isFree:true`, `:free` e `0/0` vindos do upstream **antes** de consultar o catálogo é a inversão certa: hoje um provider sem tier livre documentado consegue se declarar grátis e o listing diverge do roteador `auto/*`. Checar as heurísticas depois do hit de catálogo fecha a porta sem quebrar o caminho de linhas custom locais, que continuam confiáveis pelo caminho próprio.

O `isFreeModel("or", …)` com um alias que não existe é o tipo de bug que passa despercebido porque falha silenciosamente para o lado permissivo.

**Integração:** o `decideHidePaid` que o #12795 extraiu passou a usar o seu `isFreeForProvider` por id, em vez de OR-ear os dois aliases num único `freeProvider`. A forma por id é a garantia que esta PR estabelece, então ela prevaleceu.

d6f315018a fix(chat): continue after a server-owned tool on Chat Completions (#12867)
Validado numa worktree combinada com as 16 PRs desta leva sobre `release/v3.8.51`: typecheck:core limpo, check-file-size e check-changelog-integrity OK, complexity 2788/3218 e cognitive 1261/1437, ESLint 0 erros nos 152 arquivos alterados, e a suíte vitest:ui completa (2149) verde.

Sobre esta PR especificamente: rodei os **23 arquivos de teste** que ela toca sobre o tip final, depois do merge da base — **392/392**. A migration `174_server_tool_executions.sql` não colide (o tip está em 173, e você já a renumerou em `c35f0fd7`).

O dono foi consultado antes do merge, porque o loop está atrás da flag `SERVER_OWNED_TOOL_LOOP_ENABLED` mas o primeiro send não-streaming mudou de dono sem flag, e a verificação manual em combo com Memory continuava desmarcada. A condição dele foi: entra se os testes focados passarem aqui. Passaram.

O lock de passthrough (`fetchCalls.length === 1`) é a parte que mais me convenceu — o double-dispatch que um `if (stream)` em volta do send existente causaria é exatamente o tipo de regressão que não aparece em teste de comportamento, só em contagem de chamada.

**Três ajustes meus na sua branch:**

1. `tests/unit/chatcore-stream-error-result.test.ts` procurava `"const legResult = await runNonStreamingProviderLeg"`, mas o seu commit final `6077b9dd` passou a reatribuir `legResult` e trocou para `let`. O guard falhava na sua própria branch (confirmei que o arquivo e o `chatCore.ts` eram byte-idênticos ao head da PR, então não era efeito da leva). Passou a aceitar `const|let` — a intenção do guard é o try/catch em volta da chamada, não a palavra-chave.

2. `tests/integration/skills-pipeline.test.ts` foi de 1156 para 1338 linhas e estourou o `testCap` de 1200. Segui o mesmo caminho que você já tinha tomado em `a1d2d20d` para os testes unitários: extraí os três casos do server-owned tool loop para `tests/integration/server-owned-tool-loop-pipeline.test.ts` (259 linhas), com instância própria do harness. O glob `tests/integration/*.test.ts` pega o arquivo novo sem registro adicional. 3/3 verdes isolados.

3. O arquivo novo herdou cinco `any` do original — que só passavam por estarem congelados no `eslint-suppressions.json` sob o nome antigo. Tipei como `Record<string, unknown>`. E `tests/unit/non-streaming-finalization.test.ts` tinha dois argumentos não usados em `trackPendingRequest`, agora prefixados com `_`.

Nada disso toca produção nem enfraquece asserção.

d36d077a4d fix(resilience): keep Overloaded STREAM_EARLY_EOF off the provider breaker (#12626)
Validado em lote numa worktree combinada com os 4 PRs desta leva sobre o tip de `release/v3.8.51`: `typecheck:core` limpo e **119/119** nos 9 arquivos de teste que trazem.

Três dos quatro conflitavam apenas no `config/quality/file-size-baseline.json`, todos de forma aditiva (chaves `_rebaseline_` distintas que devem coexistir); resolvidos com validação de JSON a cada passo.

Registro que o **#12637 não é duplicata do #12566**, apesar do título quase idêntico: o autor documenta que aquele escopou o cooldown de preflight por família e este cobre o `genericQuotaFetcher`, que é o que o roteamento reset-aware efetivamente chama. Traz também validação ao vivo em VPS (imagem X500, `onmi-gemini3.6` → HTTP 200), satisfazendo a Hard Rule #18.

2265ce761f fix(security): harden public error boundaries (#12506)
Validado sobre o tip de `release/v3.8.51` depois de reconciliar com o #12620, que entrou primeiro nesta mesma sessão e ataca a mesma classe de problema por outra arquitetura.

**A colisão e como foi resolvida.** O #12620 consertou o GHSA-qv45-56jc-4wmj adicionando `RAW_CREDENTIAL_PATTERNS` a `error.ts` e importando-os em `upstreamErrorPassthrough.ts`. Este PR resolve o mesmo problema quebrando `error.ts` em `errorSanitization.ts` + `errorPathRedaction.ts`. Mantive a divisão em módulos deste PR, porque ao comparar os dois vocabulários o dele já era mais amplo: o `STRONG_CREDENTIAL_TOKEN` daqui cobre `sk-`/`sk_` **com lookbehind e uma variante para a forma embutida** (que pega `sk-proj-…`), mais Slack `xox-`, AWS `AKIA`/`ASIA`, `github_pat_`/`ghp_`/`glpat-` e JWT de três segmentos.

A única forma que o #12620 carregava e este conjunto não tinha era a chave do Google (`AIza…`) — adicionada aqui, com o mesmo quantificador limitado que os irmãos usam (AGENTS.md → PII §1, já que isso roda sobre corpos upstream não confiáveis).

**A verificação não foi por inspeção.** Rodei as suítes do próprio #12620 contra esta estrutura: **48/48** em `error-sanitizer-sk-key-qv45`, `bifrost-relay-response-leak-9m72`, `search-baseurl-client-override-3f8g` e `search-baseurl-ssrf-guard` — incluindo a asserção anti-drift daquela suíte, que é o oráculo certo aqui: *para todo corpo que a camada de passthrough recusa como vazante, o sanitizador de fallback não pode devolvê-lo intacto*. Ela passa, então a propriedade de segurança dos três GHSAs sobrevive à troca de arquitetura.

Os 21 arquivos de teste deste PR: **259/259**. `typecheck:core` limpo.

5a34111125 fix(resilience): count resolved 5xx results against the provider breaker (#12360)
CircuitBreaker.execute() treated every resolved promise as a success, but handleChatCore() reports most upstream failures by resolving with { success: false, status: 5xx }. On the chat path that spurious _onSuccess() decayed failureCount right before the call site's _onFailure() for the same attempt, so a provider answering 503s indefinitely stayed CLOSED at failureCount: 1 and kept receiving traffic — the breaker was structurally unable to open. Combo dispatches hit the same cancellation through the shared per-provider breaker.

execute() now takes an optional per-call classifyResult; without it the resolved-means-success contract every throw-based caller relies on is unchanged. executeChatWithBreaker() passes ignore and the chat path accounts for the outcome exactly once where the request context lives, so a combo success is no longer counted twice.

Validated in a combined worktree with all 25 PRs of this batch boarded together: typecheck:core clean, 443/443 node-runner tests plus 14/14 vitest across every test file the batch touches, and check-changelog-integrity, check:cycles (418 files), check:provider-consistency (272 REGISTRY entries, 355 canonical providers), check:docs-counts, check:docs-sync (42 locales) and check-file-size all green.

Adds the missing memo observability layer referenced by
tests/unit/compression/oom-memo-memory.test.ts and the monitoring API:

- resultMemo.ts: lifetime hit/miss counters + bounded time-ordered ring
  buffer (10k entries, ~90KB) powering 1m/5m/15m/1h hit-rate windows;
  getMemoStats() reports size/capacity/hits/misses/hitRate + windows.
- memoLookup() tags served results with stats.memoHit = true.
- clearMemoStore() also resets counters and the ring.
- compression/index.ts re-exports getMemoStats for the monitoring route.
- types.ts: optional memoHit field on CompressionStats.
- New GET /api/monitoring/compression route exposing the stats snapshot
  (lightweight, no DB) for operators to track cache-hit efficiency.

* fix(compression): align memo contract with upstream #11727 — return caller object, reset lookup counter in clearMemoStore

* fix(compression): restore unwrapEventEnvelope in stream payload collector summaries

The OOM-mitigation commit accidentally replaced unwrapEventEnvelope(evt.data)
with asRecord(evt.data) in the summary builders and live push, breaking
translate-mode {event, data} envelope unwrapping (clientPayload type detection)
and failing 2 stream-payload-collector tests. Restored upstream semantics;
kept the jsonLength OOM optimization as the only delta in this file.

* refactor(compression): break down writeValue and writeEncodedString to pass complexity ratchets

Refactors jsonSha256 internal helpers (writeValue, writeEncodedString)
into small, single-responsibility sub-functions under the complexity
threshold (max cyclomatic 15, max cognitive 15). Preserves exact
JSON.stringify parity, circular reference guards on both arrays and
plain objects, and escape behavior (all 530 relevant tests pass).

* test(compression): make oom-memo heap assertion robust without expose-gc

The CI unit-test shard runner does not pass --expose-gc, so global.gc is
undefined and heapUsed can still momentarily hold GC-pending transients
(observed 53.4 MiB after a 3MiB body). Gate the retained-heap assertion
on forced collection being available (3 forced cycles for array buffers)
instead of skipping it silently, and keep it fully active when
--expose-gc is present.

* fix(compression): restore worker-pool offload path in runCompressionAsync

The OOM-mitigation refactor dropped the isCompressionWorkerEligible /
runCompressionInWorker dispatch at the top of runCompressionAsync, silently
removing the base's worker-thread offload for eligible large payloads.
Restore the block exactly as on release/v3.8.51, ahead of the result-memo
path, keeping the memoization and hashing improvements intact.

* docs(api): document GET /api/monitoring/compression and log route errors via pino

Add the new monitoring endpoint to docs/openapi.yaml following the
neighboring System entries, and replace the route's console.error with
the repo-standard pino logger.

* fix(skills): regenerate omni-resilience and add changelog fragment

ae37413aff fix(resilience): isolate local host execution errors from provider circuit breakers (#12233)
Local process execution failures (ENOENT spawn errors, binary missing, EPIPE, exit codes) were incorrectly treated as upstream provider failures, opening provider circuit breakers and cooling down valid connections. Added `isLocalExecutionError` guard to skip circuit breaker trips and connection disables when local host execution fails.

1b64372316 test(free-tier): counting vs deciding regimes (#12226)
Declare the two answers to "is it free?": counting may use the
Radar-overlaid catalog, deciding reads only the shipped FREE_MODEL_BUDGETS
plus :free suffix / zero pricing / grantsFreeAccess. No production behavior
change. A static-import guard discovers every non-client consumer of
freeModels.ts and asserts none reaches getRadarCatalog / getRadarCache,
mirroring client-bundle-no-server-only-10692 on the server arc.

668beed5b8 fix(sse): absorb AbortError/request_signal_aborted in the client-abort crash guard (#12165)
OmniRoute's SSE teardown aborts in-flight legs with
`Error [AbortError]: request_signal_aborted` on client disconnects
(open-sse/utils/streamHandler.ts getClientAbortReason), and fetch/DOM
cancellation surfaces as AbortError with an abort-flavoured message.
isClientAbortError() only matched message 'aborted'/'Aborted' plus errno
codes, so these shapes fell through shouldSwallowUncaught() and were
re-thrown from the process-level uncaughtException/unhandledRejection
handlers — killing the whole server on a routine client disconnect
(observed as repeated exit-code-7 crashes with
'uncaughtException: Error [AbortError]: request_signal_aborted').

Match AbortError by name when the message is abort-flavoured; genuine
errors that merely mention 'abort' (e.g. TypeError) still crash loudly.

Tests: new unit cases for the SSE/DOM AbortError shapes, a child-process
regression proving the process survives both benign emissions with the
production no-logger install shape, and a child-process test proving
genuine errors keep crash semantics.

d213ef0304 feat(dashboard): show cache percentage in request logs (#11970)
Mostra a % de cache nos logs de requisição, com teste próprio (`request-logger-cache-percentage.test.ts`). Validado no worktree combinado do lote.

Pequeno ajuste feito por cima: `formatCachePercentage` movida de `RequestLoggerV2.tsx` para `src/shared/utils/formatting.ts`. `RequestLoggerV2.tsx` importa `RequestLoggerDetail`, que desde o #11703 (mergeado nesta mesma sessão) importa CSS bruto de `react18-json-view` — algo que o Node native test runner não consegue carregar. O teste original importava a função direto do componente e quebrava por causa dessa cadeia de import, não por bug na PR. Movida a função (pura, sem dependências) para o utils compartilhado; ajustado o import do componente e do teste. Typecheck limpo, teste passando (6/6).

5684589ce7 feat(dashboard): collapsible JSON tree viewer for request/response payloads (#11703)
Resynced onto the release tip. Two fixes applied during boarding: (1) the branch forked before the recent optionalDependencies placement of @huggingface/transformers and onnxruntime-node — its own diff re-added both into "dependencies" as duplicates alongside the real new dependency (react18-json-view); removed the duplicates, ran npm install to sync the lockfile. (2) config/quality/dependency-allowlist.json referenced the wrong package name (react-json-view-lite, an earlier iteration per the PR body) — the code actually imports react18-json-view; fixed the allowlist entry to match. RequestLoggerDetail.tsx crossed its frozen file-size cap (1018->1111); rebaselined with a note — the PR does split out the new logic (RequestLoggerDetail.sections.tsx, JsonTreeExpandControls.tsx, useTimestampTitles.ts, jsonTreeExpandStore.ts, all well under cap), the growth here is irreducible wiring. typecheck:core, check:dashboard-typecheck, check:file-size, check-deps all green after resync; 8/8 vitest + 11/11 native tests pass. Nice, well-structured 6-commit feature with full i18n and good test coverage. Thanks!

a1d6ff5fbf fix(api): preserve caller-provided X-Correlation-Id on chat completions (#11760)
Boarded with #11741 (a duplicate fix for the same underlying issue #11739). Compared both implementations directly: this one is technically superior — a dedicated resolveIncomingCorrelationId() helper that strips CRLF (header-injection prevention) and bounds length to 1-256 chars, with 4 unit tests covering those edge cases. #11741's simpler `header || generateRequestId()` has no sanitization. Closing #11741 with credit. Validated in a combined worktree: typecheck:core, check:dashboard-typecheck, check:file-size, check:changelog-integrity, check:complexity, check:cognitive-complexity, check:cycles, check-deps all green; 84/84 + 43/43 focused tests pass across this batch. Thanks for the careful sanitization work.

Resynced onto the release tip after #12051/#12052 landed. One real conflict in open-sse/services/combo.ts at both LKGP-clear call sites (handleComboChat + round-robin path): the release tip already has #12013's clearStaleLKGP() helper, which this PR's branch predates — kept the current helper call at both sites, discarding the pre-refactor inline pattern. typecheck:core and the open-sse test suite (vitest, 9/9 on volumeDetector) both green after resync. Thanks for the well-scoped Phase 4 migration.

55e33f3dc8 fix(sse): default crash-guard logger to console.warn, not console (#12042)
Real production incident (2026-08-29): the crash guard #11556 introduced defaulted its logger to `log ?? console` — console is an object, not a function, so a burst of client aborts (ECONNRESET) reaching the process-level guard threw TypeError inside the uncaughtException handler itself and killed the server, twice in three minutes. Fix: default to console.warn.bind(console).

Bug-injection round trip confirms the new test fails on the old default and passes on the fix. Existing guard suite stays green: 9/9 (verified together with the new test).

34e2f84c04 feat(api): explicit model exposure allow/deny list for /v1/models (#11481) (#11997)
Adds opt-in modelVisibilityAllowlist/modelVisibilityDenylist settings so an operator can curate exactly which models GET /v1/models advertises, mirrored into auto/* combo candidate pools (the same trap #6512 fixed for hidePaidModels). Default off, no behavior change for anyone who doesn't opt in.

TDD: 4 new test files, 22/22 passing (16 node:test + 6 vitest) + regression sweep across virtual-auto-combo/hide-paid/hide-auto-no-think suites (21/21).

Rebased onto the updated tip (a sibling #9133 landed first, same file) — kept both rebaseline annotations in file-size-baseline.json and set the value to the real measured line count after both merged.

b68af3f090 chore(release): merge release/v3.8.50 tip into release/v3.8.51 — sync-back step 1/2
The v3.8.50 close left 134 post-freeze commits on release/v3.8.50 that never
reached the cycle branch (the freeze cut release/v3.8.51 at 3192eb88d5). A
plain merge of main reproduces all of them through the `Release v3.8.50`
squash against a July merge-base and conflicted on 551 files; merging the
release tip first, against the recent common ancestor, narrows the real
conflicts to 102 (51 generated, 51 judged file by file with a proof each —
see _tasks/postmortems/2026-08-25-release-v3.8.50-pipeline-eficiencia.md,
Parte IV). Step 2 brings main's own post-tag fixes and the finalized
CHANGELOG through scripts/release/sync-next-cycle.mjs.

Resolution rules applied, in order of evidence:
- generated files regenerated with the repo's own generators
  (sync-llm-mirrors, gen-budget-card-svg, gen-provider-reference);
- where release/v3.8.51 already carried the same fix in a newer shape
  (#11524 search sweep, #11551 catalog scheduler, Google BYOP retry, KIE
  Market id map, Docker worker budget measured in #7518) its version stays;
- where release/v3.8.50 carried the newer shape (Volcengine cookie-domain
  CodeQL fix + shared Zod schemas, #11355/#10534 cooldown release helper,
  positive-anchor tests for security-hardening and cli-oneproxy) it wins;
- GPL-retired Raycast/Hailuo (#11691) stay retired: nothing of theirs comes
  back and the public-route test keeps the retired route out;
- the ten changelog.d fragments of v3.8.50 are dropped — they are already
  aggregated in main's CHANGELOG and would double-aggregate at v3.8.51.

Three things git's auto-merge silently produced were caught by a per-line
detector and fixed: providerLimits.ts lost T's imports and the
windowStillExhaustedAfterRealReset helper; catalogCache.ts and
providerLimits.ts kept both sides' identical copies of three declarations;
contextHandoff.ts's new provider-allowlist skip returned undefined against
the #11552 outcome type. Every decision was re-run through the tests both
sides own for it.

f48e25194f fix(providers): retire Qwen Web pending provenance review (#11713)
Rebased onto the current release/v3.8.51 tip as part of a combined provider-retirement/provenance merge batch (Designer Web, Felo Web, Runtime, GPL-derived removal all landed together already). Conflicts resolved:

- `src/shared/constants/providerRetirement.ts`: add/add conflict — combined `felo-web`/`felo` (already-merged) with `qwen-web`/`qw` into one `RUNTIME_RETIRED_PROVIDER_IDS` set, kept both `assertRuntimeProviderAvailable`/`assertRuntimeModelProviderAvailable` helpers.
- `open-sse/config/providers/registry/minimax/web/index.ts`: modify/delete — kept deleted (file is hailuo-web's registry entry, already retired by #11691; this PR's own change to it was just a comment reword on a since-removed target).
- `open-sse/executors/index.ts`, `executorProxy.ts`, `virtualFactory.ts`, `autoStrategy.ts`, `model.ts`, `chat.ts`, `chatHelpers.ts`, `auth.ts`, `src/lib/db/providers.ts`, `reservedProviderPrefixes.ts`: combined the Designer + Runtime (Felo + Qwen) retirement guard calls at each shared chokepoint — compute-once-then-OR pattern, consistent with the prior Designer+Felo combination.
- `src/shared/constants/providers/web-cookie.ts`, `tests/snapshots/provider/translate-path.json`, `tests/snapshots/executors/executor-map.json`: both sides had inserted a different retired provider (qwen-web vs. already-retired raycast/hailuo-web) at the same dict position — resolved by dropping both. `executor-map.json`'s `keyCount` recomputed to 135 (matches actual merged `entries`).
- `tests/unit/chatcore-executor-proxy.test.ts`, `tests/unit/provider-node-reserved-prefix.test.ts`: split into independent Felo/Qwen test blocks (established pattern for coexisting retirement-mechanism tests); recomputed `RESERVED_PREFIX_COUNT` to 398 (Designer+Felo+Qwen tombstones on top of the post-#11691 REGISTRY, verified via direct module evaluation, not hand-derived).
- `config/quality/test-masking-allowlist.json`: additive merge of Qwen's `_deletedWithReplacement` entries alongside Designer's.
- `README.md` + all `docs/i18n/*/README.md` mirrors, `docs/getting-started/FREE-TIERS-GUIDE.md`, `docs/reference/FREE_TIERS.md`, `docs/diagrams/free-tier-budget.svg`, `docs/screenshots/free-tier-budget-card.svg`: recomputed the free-tier catalog counts (447 entries / 440 active / 7 discontinued) from the actual merged `freeModelCatalog.data.ts`, regenerated the budget-card SVG via its real generator (`scripts/research/gen-budget-card-svg.mjs`), and dropped the retired Qwen quick-start row / QWEN MODELS section from every i18n README (identical unlocalized block across all 34 locales).
- Also fixed a duplicate-import merge artifact in `src/lib/db/providers.ts` (`isRuntimeRetiredProviderId` imported twice) caught by `typecheck:core`, and rebaselined `file-size-baseline.json` for the combined retirement-guard growth (`virtualFactory.ts` +3, with justification).

Focused suite green (345/345 across executor-proxy, reserved-prefix, migration-167, qwen-web-retirement, virtual-auto-combo, web-cookie/session, executor-map-golden and siblings), plus `typecheck:core` and `check-file-size`/`check-changelog-integrity` clean. Thanks for the provenance-hold retirement work — appreciated.
